I did two coats to half of my garage and got through half a 5 litre tin, so you should get the whole thing done. But a roller though - it takes half the time. You can buy a microfibre roller for masonry paint for about £4 from B&Q.

The first coat was a bit patchy for me, but the second cost went on a treat. I just cleaned the wall with a metal brush to start and then blew it over with a leaf blower. Took me about two hours to do two coats to half the garage. It was all shorty bricks and breeze blocks before.

Do it. If you see my before and after at the very top, it made such a difference. I’m going to paint the floor with a light grey floor paint too, but it takes a few days to set properly, so one for the summer! [emoji1360]

I hadn’t beaten much in all fairness, until I found out that each additional sticker on the car is worth 5 BHP. I can now beat almost anything in the road, although my car looks like a Panini album.

I’ve just checked and it looks to me like the tray and the bolts are all present and intact. It may just need me to play around with it, but please do post those pics. [emoji1360]

Thanks mate. That’s really helpful!
Could I ask a favour? Would you be able to post a pic of roughly where these prongs are located?

Just to check, is this a common problem with these, or is it possibly a badly fitting pattern part? The bumper seems to have slipped by a few mm in each side. Is it a simple process to tighten and reposition?
Thanks and apologies if there are similar threads. I couldn’t find anything.

That sunflower looks cracking!
Out of curiosity, what springs and shocks are you running. Spacers or no? That ride height looks bang on.

Hahaha. I’m sure it will end up that way. We’ve got a shed and another garage. This one didn’t have a door on until yesterday.

I’m yet to collect the new phase 1 from the bodyshop (about two weeks away), so I thought that I would get to work in creating a new home for the old girl...

I’ve got to disagree with part of that. The alloys are too fussy and I’m not a fan of the light grey leather, but the colour is spot on with the right wheels.

I loved mine in LY and ran it for two years before selling it for something more practical. I had no issues at all in that time. Mileage was circa 80K when I bought and 100K when I sold it. Serviced regularly and with the belts done at correct intervals, there isn’t a huge amount to go wrong...
Yeah, the matting is standard. It used to be black, but I’m guessing that the colour has come off or faded. I’ll likely switch to a metal heat shield anyway to clean up the bay!

I remember you, Northy, Big Ben, Matt Brown, who I think was a breaker and Clio Lord.
Just had a look. 2010 was the last time we exchanged on a post!

Thanks mate. You were the only name I recognised on here. You used to be on Clio Williams too, right? I remember chatting to you and Northy back in the day! Probably ten years ago!

I haven’t unfortunately mate. It was trailered back from Yorkshire and sent straight to the body shop. I’ll post some next week. [emoji1360]
