I thought this would be a pain, but it really isn't, you just swipe up as you want to get in the phone (before you had to press a button) and faceID detects you and lets you in instantly (just like touchID before it), it really isn't the hassle I thought it would be, and is the same single...
if it doesn't work, just tilt the phone forward and then back again and it works, no need to wait ages, or turn the phone off and back on again with the side button.
surely thats only when driving, but you won't be using your phone when driving?
I'm really not seeing people wearing sunglasses at the moment in the uk.......
it will recognise you with sunglasses on, as long as you don't have the attention feature enabled, as for that it needs to see your eyes looking at it, So if you wear sunglasses often (you do know its pretty much winter now right? ;) ) you can turn that feature off.
Im very impressed so far...
have you got an X?
I used it for 5 mins in the store yesterday and already its was very natural, not for one second did I actually miss the home button, its one of those things where you wonder why you ever needed to use it and have it take up so much real estate on the phone once its gone...
Surprised nobody has mentioned salomondrin yet, he’s got an epic list of cars currently!
I also like Jon olsson who dies a decent amount of car stuff too.
Schmee does my head in, such a schmarmy dick.
Jww is cool.
Yeah I’m on 75% after wearing it for 16 hours and doing a gym workout (30 mins of indoor walking with heart rate the whole time) added in.
It’s only cellular usage that I notice drain really. Which is only when I go swimming.
must say the series 3 with cellular battery is better than the 2, but then using it on cellular, it drains a lot quicker, will last 2 days easily without cellular usage though.
yep, they have the normal speed tariff, then the 4gee MAX giving the fastest speed 4g, but all free data in USA, Canada, Australia plus some others. Plus included bt sports, n to just a trial (although that might be different now)
Speed is mega, plus I got full 4g speeds in USA too.
its not...
I was on o2 for about 15 years, then got annoyed by slow data rates, especially abroad where they were terrible. Before o2 I was with orange.
So decided to go back to them as EE, decent prices, loads of data and visual voicemail still.
The data speeds I’m getting are unreal on the 4gee max...
Interesting, didn’t know that, it’s what everyone assumed I think.
Vodafone are saying there will be an announcement in 2 weeks with plans available from 3rd November.
They won’t want to be missing out for long, the odd iPad they probs;y aren’t bothered about, but this has brought EE a load...
another issue I have is that when receiving alerts from twitter or Facebook, the logo that flashes on the screen is currently a placeholder type thing and is just white with some blue lines, so not showing up correctly.
It’s just an exclusive deal, the other operators will offer it soon.
The on,y other improvement is counting flights of steps climbed I think, it’s supposed to be faster but I can’t really notice a difference in every day use.
I’ve got the same issue, hoping it’s just an oversight and not how they’re going to do it now, can’t ever tell whether I’ve done that hour later in the day.
I bought a watch 3 with cellular, the watch isn’t really any different to the 2, doesn’t feel any bigger, which is amazing considering...
No, was very different between seasons, I think just the male arrogant judge is the same. Last season had a presenter too, but they got rid of that this season.
The first season they showed more of them choosing the equipment, they all seem to rock with a Q, and then an SLR, which is also...
Yes I've watched both seasons, really like it, the judges can be w*****s sometimes. But it's nice to see that even the experts take some pretty shocking pictures before they get one that works.
Also cool to see nearly every one of them each week, using the Leica Q I've got, such an amazing...
Mine came this week, went for space grey top spec one and upped the ssd to 2TB, f**king expensive but it's a nice machine. My 17" lasted 7 years so if this does the same.......
Had to wait 5 weeks for the thing as it was custom, but saved £700 buying it through work which nearly paid for the...
It's £10.10 a month, so £121 a year, I've never paid that much for software before.
I'd say the keep rate the dslr combo was about 70%, with the Leica it seems to be more like 90%.
I'm really impressed with how well they've turned out considering the only prep I had was the trip to Liverpool...
WOW, just WOW, this camera is immense.
Took it to Florida and took around 3500 pics, first time I've ever used RAW too, and when comparing the RAW and the JPGs, i'll be shooting in RAW from now on, although that does mean running everything through lightroom first. Got a 90 day lightroom and...
ok, so i've had my first outing with the camera, was between 6:30 and 7, so was dusk moving into night, using family high ISOs, but I'm seriously impressed, it fecking good, so easy to use, so quick, was event spitting with rain and had spots of rain on the lens, the pictures are so clear its...
lol, funny you should mention that, i havent used it for AGES, then was clearing stuff out the other day and came across it (not like that), and decided to charge it to see if it was still any good, well it came on momentarily, then died and won't charge now!
since when did apple do this sort of stuff without a proper announcement?
i just found out from work, but the iPad air is no more, its now just called the iPad, apparently its a similar form factor to the older iPad too, thicker, so cases won't fit from the air, uses the new A9 chip, more...
This should provide a better image than my 7D and a canon lens, it doesn't get much better than these optics. I have the 50mm 1.8 for my canon and never really liked it.
