as above, run disk utility to verify and then click repair as well... then after that, reset your P-ram - turn the macbook off, then power it on whilst holding 'command + shift + P + R' - I still don't know exactly how this does its thing but a lot of hardcore apple fans recommend it as one of...
Not sure why I need to rear Typhoon?
I read as far as the line before "he had 6500 photos not backed up"... Please accept my upmost sincerest apologies for missing this. It won't happen again.
if he can afford another iPhone he should be able to sync it to his computer and/or retrieve stuff from the cloud (if he had cloud enabled and recently backed up his phone) he should be ok I woulda thought?
yeah the pictures look really incredible in all fairness, just the road racing seems really sloppy, hard to take a proper accurate racing line etc... or is it that it's meant to be an arcade racing game as opposed to a racing simulator like forza? Not having a moan (in case it sounds like it :)...
Can anyone sell horizon 2 to me plz? I tried the demo but wasnt impressed with the handling & just wasn't bothered with it because I prefer actual tracks rather than cruising round... Am I missing something?
do like the a169 to whitby but the speed camera vans always sit up there hiding just over the crest of a hill on a straight bit. 10-15 miles west there's the roads up around blakey ridge and chimney bank = utterly epic and usually deserted (apart from kamikaze sheep).
these sort of roads...
Volvo v50 then maybe? Just as practical but a bit more compact. I've got a v70, drive like a bellend and I still get 47mpg.. Only thing that ever seems to go wrong with it is boost hoses popping off (3 in 15 months). Comfy all day long, we did 560 miles to Portsmouth and back the other day, my...
Plans are:
Gary's posting de-cat pipe so fit that when it arrives
Just ordered a gas flowed/polished inlet manifold, fit that
Clean/oil the k&n panel filter
Then get it booked in for a remap to get it all singing in tune :) I'll be happy enough for a while at that point but come spring I'll...
yeah the Silver one had quite a bit of kit on it but I really wanted a racing blue (fastest colour). Thanks for all guidance and info lads. Any Yorkshire meets planned anytime soon? I'm gonna do some reading up on how to polish up the inlet manifold and rest of the engine bay, looks a bit dull...
yeah unfortunately Gary didn't have time to get it washed prior to viewing but even through the winter grime I could tell it was a really nice clean example. Took it to the jet wash this morning and now just need to hoover it out.
@Feirny - you can have them if you like? :P think it's just...
... I get my 182 home to York after a round trip to @Garym6352 in Portsmouth. Absolutely loving the car, pulls so well, sounds great, looks amazing (still making my mind up about the graphite stripes - probably remove them or replace with white) and the rest of the Team Wüff racing lads (one e36...
Hiya guys thank you for all the comments, didn't realise asking about the history of a 182 would stir up so much interest = good readership, I like.
I'm viewing one tomorrow (RB cup) so will report back. Thanks for all the suggestions & info & stuffs, really appreciate it.
Looks like a nice car but again with lack of history, cracked windscreen, Serv light etc. Sounds a bit of a dog, there's sone really nice RB cups for a few hundred more :) thanks though :)
cheers guys - hope I haven't broken any forum slander rules at all, like I say I've messaged lee and he's been very obliging, but the spec I'm after/budget I have are very much suited to a particular car so can't really risk it on something which has an apparent hard life etc. Thanks again for...
not wanting to stir up anything personal about lee but in previous posts he's asked about welding driveshaft circlip's in because his have fallen out twice, apparently the engine was making a horrible grinding sound around 1500rpm etc.. I did message lee asking for a few more pics and info but...
would have loved an FF RB but every single one of the ads for RB FF's in the last month have all sold/are no longer available :( if anyone spots an FF RB 182 cup/non-cup by all means please please do message me
I noticed the colour variance on the drivers door as well.... something to check over when I go see it.
Apparently the wind deflectors have fallen off. I say apparently, I meant fortunately. Scorpion RS 192 exhaust apparently? Stickers are coming off. It's gonna be a weekend/road legal track...
I appreciate the comment from the garage being wrong in that the water pump is a separate job, but the timing belt having been done nearly 3 years ago and the car still running around gives me a bit of confidence, and at least the water pump has (hopefully) been done if the guy does it as part...
cheers man, just spoken to them - the guy on the phone said it had cam belt and aux belt done in jan 2012 but not the dephaser.. gonna go do some reading up on de-phaser now to see what implications it might have.
cheers Mick, I'll have a check - the listing says "All belts and Water Pump done in 2012 by Queens Renault specialists in Leeds (currently away from home so cant check specifically when in 2012 at the moment)". I'll give them a call and actually check they're a proper renault specialist
Hiya guys,
after days and days of texting and calling and pm'ing people I've found an ad for a 182 where it is actually still available (so many active ads where people haven't taken it down or updated their thread with the word 'sold' anywhere). This one's based in Sale in Gtr. Manchester, but...
