Just seen this, i'm so glad you managed to sort out a really successful group buy over on Cutters.
Car looks superb with the airbox in there, they look so good! Looks great with the CSL bumper too. Good work, if you need anything else you know where i am :)
Mines had about 10, but 2 people on the log books history have owned it twice, me included.
It swapped hands 3 times between me owning it also, (albeit one person owning it for about a week)
I gave my clio a pretty quick clean this afternoon, Wash using Glacier Wax PURE001 (which is a fabulous shampoo), and a top up off wax. It's already got a couple of layers of Glasur on, but decided to top of with a layer of Illusion and then a misting of the trusty Zaino Z8
Heres the pictures...
I'd be more than happy to help out with the organisation of this. We're quite a close knit bunch, so I'm sure organising it won't be too much of an issue.
They work very close with Evolve, so might be able to help with cost there also (however im sure how much, or any at all)
If there is anything at all you need from them, let me know. I'll help where i can :)
Let me know if you need a Geoff Steel airbox, my Dad is workshop manager for them, and i can get you a very good price. I organised one for a lad called Graham with an Imola Red E46, who i used to know through ZSOC.
Yeah, its a good set up, best of the various combinations i've used. On the road they are good once warmed up too, squeek a bit when cold, but thats too be expected.
I'm a big fan of Pagid RS4-2 blues, like a few others on here.
I had similiar issues with warped discs and crumbling pads with DS2500's.
I run;
Brembo Max Discs
Pagid RS4-2 Blue Pads
Goodride Lines
ATE Superblue Fluid
Only change i'd be tempted to make is Castrol SRF fluid in the future.
The residuals on this car, will be so much stronger than any A Class AMG, M135, Golf R, the limited run will make sure of that. Would for me, make it the wiser purchase.
However i genuinely can't believe that you are able to spec some of these modern hot hatches, and it comes close to £50k...
Very impressive stuff, love the way Renault go about there business - they still lead the way in the way in terms of producing road bred track cars.
Expensive it maybe, but its only the same tax that Porsche used to add to the old GT3 for there RS models.
This model whilst it has a lot of very...
Personally id rather own a clean car, and for £3k you are going to be very unlikely to get one. I bought my Williams 1 for £3500, was in decent condition, it wasn't the most usable car in the world (although i did use it on a daily basis). I sold it for the same price.
Great cars, fantastic...
Personally I was not interested to go on the CS stand, it's usually just in a see of Clio's. Just a shame we was tucked up out back in middle of nowhere...!
We could have both probably got onto the themed paddock / on trade stands somewhere and been not out of place. Similar to what yours and...
Thanks tom. We were both really please with them on the day. There weren't many really well looked after Cups on the day at all
Great Photo Dan, I presume you realise that car is mine not Kyles?!
Yeah, had a good couple of coats of Zymol Carbon, plus layered with 2 layers of AF Illusion...
