Exactly dave. I paid over 1k more for it than that and spend a fortune on it. I know you never get back what you put in but I couldn't let it go for peanuts so keeping the thing now lol
I had this dyno'd on a reputable one and it ran 208 as standard. FN2s are known to run higher than quoted. I've only had a couple of runs against a 182 and off the line the 182 had the traction and did pull ahead but once i got going i caught up and nudged it. So basically nothing in it really.
Doesn't 95 r****d the timing or some s**t i read before. I run my type r on v power and do get more mpg. I do it for that reason alone. If it benefits the engine, well that's a bonus.

Yeah Dan I've heard the same too. And in all fairness, I had a go against a 172 not so long ago and i did pull slightly ahead. Only marginal mind. So the hype regarding the FN2 being slower than the ep3 etc is b****cks tbf.
