Depends on how much you are paying for the car and then shelling out 1k on top I would buy one that's got a good service history and belts just done from someone like R-Sports cars on here who sells top notch clios

All I done was wire brushed mine down cleaned them with brake cleaner and painted them silver You can buy a calliper paint kit off ebay

Have you tried changing the relays around the black ones under the bonnet

Selling ph1 172 and picking up audi 2.0 tdi Quattro and when the warranty runs out have the dpf removed and remapped

Started getting all the receipts and paperwork ready on the car before i sell it.

I had the belts and cams with a remap done 2 years ago by ktec and have no issues to date

Correct soon as I strip my spare one down I will give it to the guy and see what he can make hopefully this will fix the problem, I will keep you posted

There is a company that makes and supplies all types of springs and delivers to my work place and I was going to strip the spring off one and see if they could make me one with more tension to see if that fixes the problem

My money's on the timing is still out

Have you tryed Renault Wolverhampton in the trade section on here ? A new tb is a round £400 now and are on back order ,when you start cleaning the tb with carb cleaner you end up stripping the grease out of them and the become a pain in the butt to correct as I learnt .

H I was looking into this as well and was going down the line of Removing the spring on the side and getting a new one made same thickness but a bit more tension and was going to try that
