It would be nice if people would come, but understandable if they don't. The only implication doing something like this, is timing, just means we may have to meet earlier etc for the pics if some would like to do a drive in the afternoon, so we can make the most of the daylight.
Was thinking...
Well you could do, but hey we all have heaters and a coat! - its not like we are using motorbikes :rasp:

Not a bad idea Chip, opens the area more for others
I have given this abit of thought. The way I see it, there are 3 options
1 - Meet in one area for pics, eg the Drake Circus main car park - this would require a ticket at the rate £1 per hour.
2 - Use a couple of locations, some being weather dependent, with abit of a drive between - possibly...
Surely if you say its for a photoshoot, using the ships as scenery, and we were observed it cant be that bad - although my comment was only meant in passing.
It's not like we are asking to put a load of clios on an aircraft carriers flight deck, or can we??
Never been across the other side of the river, but just been looking on google, any good spots that way, seem like there may be a couple from street view like this but it is more drving, and a long way or what ever the cost is for the ferry
Could always try gatecrashing the naval base :P

It's all abit flooded :P
What's the drakes circus car park like? I'm guessing we would have to pay for that where as staples is free to drive in (its the one I use)

If its nice, that is a nice spot mcgherkin, if its sunny, then where blakey?? took the shots of his v6 could be nice as well, unfortunately these are seem both abit weather dependent.
Yeh was pretty wet last time, kept you awake :) and the wipers at points were next to useless
Twisties just outside Exeter were interesting to say the least

My 200 with 2 years ncb - insured it when i was 19, cost around £1600, my 1.2 TCE quote for renewal, was £1400, it hardly dropped. I only jokingly did the quote for a 200, didnt really intend on getting one at that point as I thought it would be ridiculous. But I could afford it so I did.
The...
It rained all the way so some of the standing water was pretty bad, had a few twitch moments. Thankfully not much traffic so there was not much spray. Hit the mountain road just the other side of Carmarthen and couldn't she s**t. Complete blanket of fog so when you put main beam on it just...
Well that was a good way of spending a wet evening!
I almost expected the coppers to get out and ask us what we were doing around there at that time. Or to look in the review for the blue lights. (If he could ever catch up)
And Lesley's car will be all dirty again after that!
Would be rude and pointless not to turn up to this, as I have to drive past it on my way up to Swansea, also makes the 4 hours of college this week a little less pointless!
Guessing that is DGL for the work then.
I use them, and never had any problems, always good work for the things i've needed done.
Meant to get mine in there last week, but completely forgot.
