How do I know if my car is a 172 or 182?

I wouldn’t say the boot floor looked ‘factory’ from the factory lol

How do I know if my car is a 172 or 182?

I don’t see why your average punter would bodge up the boot floor when there are work around exhausts that make it look like a 182. Just seems a bit strange

How do I know if my car is a 172 or 182?

Text the registration to 78111 and it runs a a hpi check. It’s about £3 I think

How do I know if my car is a 172 or 182?

Flat boot Twin exhaust Manifold Hpi check - this will tell you. Plus did the 182 not start in 2004?

Want a new car. Stay with clio? Or step to a megane?

I had a brand new meg and it was s**t on fuel. After about 5-10k miles it got much better. In the end I was averaging 35mpg which isn’t terrible. Not as good as the Clio but it is more powerful and the low down punch is addictive

Want a new car. Stay with clio? Or step to a megane?

Modifying is much easier as it’s a turbo unit. As an all round package it’s hard to beat a 250. As above, you can see the renaultsport similarities in both

Want a new car. Stay with clio? Or step to a megane?

I’ve had 172, 172 cup, 182, 182 trophy and a Meg 275. All great in they’re own way. The Megane was easily the most refined and was rapid. Different aspiration made it feel more punchy. The clios much more raw, less refined, frantic at speed. It depends what you’re after tbh. If you want more...

A beauty. I remember a few years back these were absolute peanuts to buy! Wish I’d bit the bullet

    Ph2 Trophy seats

They’re pretty much perfect for what you need. Very middle of the road seat unless you want something more hardcore

    Z4 3.0

Lovely. Real shame it’s not got heated seats, most seem to. I’m on the lookout for one for the other half and it has to be the 3.0, nothing else makes sense unless you push the boat way out for the z4m

    TWITCH - Anybody else stream?

It’s a strange thing (watchin streamers) when you think about it but actually rather good. Anyone that hasn’t done it can’t really comment tbh. I’d much rather watch a hilarious steamer playing my favourite game than sit and watch shite on tv that’s been repeated for the 400th time.

    Michelin themed RB 182

That really does look great. Very hard to livery up a car and make it still look classy. Hats off to you, it’s epic

E90 330i - Third Blue Motor On The Bounce

True. I’ve kind of given up on the 330i chase. Seem hard to find in this guise. Probably going mk6 golf gti

E90 330i - Third Blue Motor On The Bounce

I really want an e90/e91 330i (probably manual but not precious) They seem really difficult to find in decent spec. I would like xenons and the screen thing. Le Mans too, maybe silver Yours is lovely

    Nice 182 video

Thanks for linking the vid. I like the guy reviewing, watch him quite a bit. Doesn’t talk much about the car apart from saying it’s fun. Still. It makes me want another!

    These days, 3 grand buys an e90 330i ...

Excellent! I’m looking at either an e61 530i n52 or an e90 330i n52. Is your saloon n52? Looks like it from the engine bay. This seems the one to go for. Seem hard to find though. Not bothered about auto or manual

    M5 Touring

Fair play for noticing that. Are they quite happy to admit liability for it? I’m looking at e61s at the moment. Not the m5 variant though. Either a 525i/530i sport

    PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

100%. It’s running much better. Still the odd wee niggle but much better. Rendering issues aren’t down to the game, that’s down to the Xbox/ps4

    Why members don’t attend meets?

They can be quite intimidating coming in as a new guy tbh. I’ve only ever been to one when I had the trophy. Was good fun. Quick meet and then a drive

Honda Civic 2.2 CDTI Type S

The point of a cheap car is to spend as little as possible! You went down the wrong route with Honda. If you wanted jap should’ve went for a Toyota. Nice car though

New bonnet from ecp is actually pretty cheap. Might be worth doing that and getting it painted
