Hmm, sorry. I've just re-read what I wrote, I did it quite quickly as I was doing something else and I probably should have made it clear that I don't blame you for the collision. Bikers in general have to take care of themselves as you don't win anything by being in the right about a...

so unless the motorcyclist puts their hands up and takes the blame it'll could be a 50/50. I think the view will probably be that you both owed each other a duty of care, unless it can be shown...
It could be great but the pucks are a real let down and not being able to record anything to any cloud is verging on mis-selling. However with my situation I'm going to stick with it and keep my fingers crossed that things get better.
Another fault I missed from my massive moan further up is...
Usually... however it's still not available.
But the problem is I'm now paying for a SkyGlass subscription whereas a similarly priced Sky+ or SkyQ subscription would have just recorded it for me. I've always been able to watch it on iPlayer but have never needed to because it's just been...
So the new HDMI leads seem to have fixed many of the problems, which is as surprising as it is pleasant. It does seem quite odd but since fitting the puck has behaved flawlessly.
However I've just sat down to watch MOTD which has just finished. It is in my playlist, so should be 'recorded' to...
So, I don't have sky sports at the moment and would hope that with them it wouldn't be a problem and the 'start from beginning' function will work 100% of the time. If the game is with another provider like BT or BBC then it appears that it may work sometimes... other times you have to wait...
I've now been having a terrible time with the puck. I thought by leaving it a few months after release that most of the really bad problems would have been ironed out. However the TV seems absolutely fine so at least the wife is happy.
I've read lots of the threads on the skyhelp forum and...
No, it never records like Q. It's all just streamed, which is generally fine. You add things to a playlist and click on them to watch them.
But sometimes, when a program has already started and is still on, you can restart from the beginning and sometimes you can't. When you can't you have to...
I doubt it, it's much cheaper to sell TV through the internet than messing around with satellites and dishes, they'll sort the problems given some time.
Even you said in an earlier comment that it would "store your recordings in the cloud" and this is what most of the marketing implied. But it's not true, there is no 'recording' of anything as far as I can tell. It's not all bad, but it's not good at the moment.
I've had mine for a week, no issues (so far) with the puck. Which I've used a lot more than the actual TV. Generally it all seems to work quite well except...
The really annoying thing is randomly not being able to restart programs. Some work fine however the Masked Singer is in my playlist...
No problem, I really appreciate the answers.
The TV functionality sounds like it will work really well... Just about the puck, will it output 4k/HDR/UHD (what ever you call it) and atmos via my AV box and speakers? The 'step' you mention is what I was concerned about, is there a spec list for...
I didn't know we had a Sky employee on here, I have questions! :)
I'm quite keen on the idea of this, but I'm also fully paid up member of the Sky fan club... however I'm a shift worker and don't quite get the idea of not being able to 'record' live sport anymore and having to stream it. So if...
I used this stuff on my motorcycle headlight and it still looks decent 18months later. Might be a little more tricky if you are using it for the little fog lights on a Clio though... which gives me an idea as I still have most of the roll left!
I've not had to ask many questions as I've been able to find pretty much all the answers before, however I couldn't find anything relating to this. So the last time I took the car (Ph2 172) to have the alignment done it had an unequal amount of rear camber. -2.18 left and -1.17 right...
@JamesBryan I appreciate what you are saying but it doesn't feel or act like any wheel bearing failure I've had before, if it was the bearing making that vibration I would expect to be picking up bits of metal or probably the wheel and hub as it bounces off down the track :)
@STEVE.M, thank...
Definitely not wheelnuts.
It only happened when the wheel was fully loaded through a left hand corner, I wasn't about to fully lift off to see if the noise stopped but reasonable throttle adjustments made no difference to the noise.
I didn't swap wheels around, but that is because I really...
So, went to Rockingham yesterday and, despite being the slowest and scruffiest car out there, we had a great time, however during the morning we started to get a juddering from the front o/s wheel around pif-paf and gracelands and occasionally turn one, which really affected confidence. It...
Indeed, happened to my sister-in-law (for two speeding offences, on the same day), getting insurance afterwards was an expensive business as a new driver with six points!
Nothing wrong with having your folks pay for your first insurance, I know I did :)
And as long as you're declaring your modifications and are fully insured that's good too, certainly for the first two years. The new driver act has made it a real issue if you do get caught without full insurance...
Aye I am, but thanks for the advice. I know a few people who have ended up with loads of hassle and long term problems following a scaphoid break. I also ride a motorbike and it's my right wrist so I really don't want to have any restriction of movement. Ended James Toseland's racing...
Aye sounds good, I'll see how my wrist goes, still haven't driven the clio more than a few meters on my drive. Am hoping from good news from the doc's next week.
