As I said in the intro yeah bought it from a forum member Harry, from Newark area.
Thanks ksp for the comments, agree the wheels are much better suited now.
Had my 172 Cup now 2 months after buying from forum member Harry. Always fancied one at some point and thought now is a good time as prices are fairly low now. Owned a Williams 3 and a ph2 172 before so nice to compare it to them and get into another Renault Sport Car.
After searching for...
Sold the MPS after owning it for 1 year. Great car and great spec but was just lacking wow factor. It was quick don't get me wrong but fairly boring when driving day to day, just not enough of a novelty for me in the end.
Hi all, after a year away from driving a little hot hatch I decided I was missing out on the thrill and novelty so wanted to get back to it again and get another Clio Sport. I have owned a Williams 3 and a PH2 172 before and noticed a great looking Cup 172 for sale a couple of weeks ago owned by...

Hi , here I have a 10" sub with built in amp. I have had this and was planning puting it into my car but just not got round to it. Now moving house and taking up room so needs shifting.
Looking at offers around £45
That was mine  parked on George Street for a night out that I had. Car was left there over night as there's free parking on a Sunday.
Cheers Lads
CC i never used at all so not too bothered about losing it. Can always put a brick on the pedal if i have a long journey.
I need to get a resistor to plug in and turn the bag light off, looking about for one at the moment.
Also get rid of the OMP horn button being the obvious ;)
Managed to get a new wheel from a friend who had sold his 182 cup. Its totally transformed the drive and feel of the car. Very happy with it.
SORRY FOR THE PHONE PICS :(
Also done a oil/filter change to keep things fresh
This weekend had a bit of time with the car. Managed another 5000mile oil/filter change.
another shot of the new exhaust and hanger fitted last week. So far so good anyway!
also picked up the new wheel from a friend who sold his 182 cup on, made sure I got what i wanted off it before it...
Sure is. Nice and quiet on a Tuesday evening.
Standard wheels suit the car yes but just a very dated look now. My standard wheels are also in good condition with good rubber so will keep them if i fancy a change again :approve:
Picked up the new wheels on Sunday and got them fitted and gave the car a quick clean. Also trying out my camera for the 1st time, playing with settings. Tips would be helpfull on shutter speeds and exposure. I also need to invest in a tripod :dapprove:
