Im in an iceberg 172 with lowered+anthracite alloys...its a very unsuspecting car so you may have seen me but probably thought its just another crappy 1.2 clio
Was drying the clio after a wash and as the delivery man was walking towards his van he said it was a "very nice car"... I wasnt sure if he was serious because it looks like a crappy 1.2 clio to most people. However, it was all clean and shiny.
Are the elf oils ester? It says their synthetic but that's a bit vague..I personally wouldn't use anything lower than a quality fully syn except for running in.

+1 above clutch is heavier compared to other small cars, also I wouldnt worry about headlight washes as they are a common item to go wrong and cheap to fix. How much was the car up for? If it was in good condition at the right price then you've probably missed out a good car.
2001 172 with 54k on the clock. Mind you low mileage does not mean its been well looked after, mine is on its 2nd dephaser pulley and 3rd timing belt unlike most clios which were still on the original parts!
Am I the only person who thinks the clio sport clutches are light/normal? I used to own a mr2 turbo and that was bloody heavy, driving the thing to the shops was a work out for the left leg!
