The sat nav is actually going to be a present for my dad, he's hopeless with phones so not an option for him, (although I've got nav free for iPhone and it's great)
I'm looking to buy a budget sat nav, it is only for occasional use within the uk only so the only feature I want really is for the route to be able to update and re route if wrong turns are taken etc.
cheapest end of the market seems to be Binatone R430 £49.99.
Or or spending a little more...
I'm selling the last 4 months wax samples, 3 unused and one half full, will also throw in the gyeon spray sealant and dr beasleys finishing glove for £10, pm or reply if anyone's interested.
Re: Alex's 182 *Ideas Please!*
Might be worth a bash, could always try a bit of autoglym polish/ other polish to see if it makes any difference at all before buying a kit
Re: Alex's 182 *Ideas Please!*
Less is more with 182's IMO, clean plates (maybe 3/4 plate) give the headlights a polish (3m kit) and a new style renault sport badge for the back. Not a fan the the sticker bomb but looks good so far
Thats the trouble, I have a habit of making easy jobs difficult! After removing the 2 screws for the battery connector there's a little metal strip that needs removing? Could be the only fiddly bit?
So after 18 or so moths of use my iPhone battery seems to have had it, so how hard is it to replace the 4s's battery? The kits on amazon/eBay seems simple enough, looking at the guides it's only 4 screws, with only trouble possibly being the battery connector? So anybody had any problems...
If you can get this right you could make a fortune, can't believe that the only real replacement option is the streamline carbon fibre ones, I'd be interested in buying a pair of these
I've just bought some of the valet pro citrus, it's as fairly good, I also bought a 2l bottle of demon shine with a 'spray gun on top' so put the pre wash in that and spray it on, works quite well as I don't have a jetwash!
Re: PS4 pre-order
think there will be a week maybe 2 after launch when stock runs out, but surely they'll have enough to supply them over December and Xmas, would be insane not too.
Thats my thoughts, refurbished alpine is better than new pioneer/jvc etc. that pioneer looks good, put pushes the price over my budget, not really too fussed about iPod usage as I don't have one! iPhone use age seems to be above my price range, and cba with plugging cables in and out etc
Hmmm goods good, true about cd's but nice to have anyway, the alpine above has both for similar price, the jvc doesn't seem to have any feature to 'sell it' to me
Hi all, another what head unit thread sorry!
Im after a new stereo for my 03 plate 172, only requirements are music to be used mainly through a USB stick. Stalk controls retained and to be between £50-£80 including stalk adapter (£20-25 I believe)
best I've seen is a refurbished alpine cde...
Not at fan at all, would be better without all the badges and spoiler, nicely lowered, with colour coded bumpers and the wheels look good, in such a small car, more is definitely not better
