I know what you mean with the gears, ive found myself pulling out of junctions and heading round roundabouts then thinking oh crap i'm still in third but the car seems to handle the lows speeds and stays smooth
really love the dash as well now im used to where im looking for each bit of info...
i can see why v-tec is marmite, i think if i had gone straight from the 182 to the civic it would have been hard to adjust to but having the dsg derv in between has made the transition very easy!
drives well at low revs and has the beens for a blast at high revs if need be, that v-tec noise is...
Well after some big problems with the Audi derv, i traded in and picked up the new motor.
Had it for 2 weeks now and love it :) really liking being back in a revvy n/a
had a look at leon fr's, meggy r26's, clio 197/200's and focus st's but the civic ticked all the boxes and won me over :)...
if your interested in some cheap s line alloys give me a shout fella, i need to get rid as they are sat in the shed........
they are the 18 inch s line alloys, would come with tyres but they could do with new rubber, ok condition, i had them as they were but a refurb would bring them up to...
had a nosey round this matt black one in crewe audi last week, £55k

haha very true luke but im old and grey now ;)
probably didn't explain myself very well, when i first got the 182 no1 in the area had one, hardly any people as a whole had racing blues and because they were between 10-15k they were pretty exclusive
four years later and there were around 10...
tbh know-one can say whether you will be fine or not, its a risk you take yourself!
some people may never get pulled for their altered or mis represented plates, others get pulled at some point or another.
if you like it and are willing to risk it then its all good :D
the swingarms a must to help keep the front end down, the nos is wired into the horn lol
iirc he said its around 500bhp+ then with nos on top (i know nothing bout bikes tho, just know that he customs all his bikes and does a lot of fiddling with them lol)
i know he's going to an airfield day to try and get ~210 lol
its basically a guaranteed driving ban or death on the roads that thing
really like your thought fella, exactly the kinda bike id love to have, just need to pull me finger out and get a bike and do my test lol
welcome to the club fella, both cars look lovely!
E30 is stunning although i would have plain standard plates to keep the front end tidy and less cluttered :)
looks awesome dude :) would love a bike, the colours really suite yours!!
been at my bro in laws today, he's just bought some more nitrous for his bike :race: gulp gotta admit im a little scared to get on it
i had my 3/4 on for years but finally caught up with me when i was pulled by Traffic, i offered to swap it over straight away as it was velcro'd on but he told me to wait while he took a pic for evidence then he made me swap it over and sent me on a driver improvement course :(
Expensive mistake :(
just makes me think that even tho it could happen to anyone, it reinforces the fact that saving some of your 'modding money' for track tuition could save you pennies in the long run and allow you to enjoy your car on track more :)
