FFS.
Just been out to my car to grab my gym bag and I notice 3 big splatterings of bird poo on my car. The one on the windscreen came off easily enough. The one on the bonnet a bit harder but not too bad. The one on the roof was impossible though. It was as if it had been baked onto it...
See my comments previously in this thread.
Use a glass polish to clean the glass effectively, wipe down with IPA/Eraser or similar then apply with cotton make up pads. Once on, buff off straight away. 5 months plus easily of water repellency. Not as good as G1 but easier to apply.
Just found a small amount of Werkstatt Jett that I forgot I had. Probably enough to do a roof and bonnet, maybe the wings of a Fiesta sized car. If I add some water to it I assume that I will weaken it and therefore lose some of its properties?
I bought G5 last October as a quick fix because I didn't have the time with the weather etc to do G1. It has been in my car for 7 months now and I have only just had to redo my windscreen. Even then it was still working to a decent enough extent. The side windows still bead like crazy. Well...
I've not had any streaking with 14 on dark colours.
To anyone who hasn't tried it I highly recommend it. So easy to spray on and then buff off and beads fantastically.
With the better weather today I finally had a chance to use my pot of Zymol Carbon today.
Very impressed. Such a lovely wax to use, easy on and off, and it seems to have given my the flake in my paint an extra pop. Very nice smelling too!
Can't wait to see it in beading/sheeting action.
Just a heads up for anyone looking at buying an iPad Mini 3.
