Well some guy on a Civic forum has just told me the rear fog can actually be rewired into one of the reverse clusters quite easily, so I'm definitely going to look into that!
I see where you're coming from though pal, unfortunately as said though that's the only legal plate I can...
Just a bit different! Still can't make my mind up on which handles "better", I did love that BMW. (Still have it as my Desktop wallpaper)
I'm supposed to be getting some 98 Spec 16" JDM wheels at the weekend for it, in white. They look a bit like Turinis, although after seeing these pics, I'm...
Sure. I only have this one, it's pretty boring, but very OEM, which I've always liked. Might look into upgrading the intake next year.

So since owning the car I've done a few bits. In the past 3 months I've:
Fitted Tanabe Pro S Coilovers
Rustproofed the inner arches
Undersealed the full car & arches
Painted calipers blaaaaaaack front and rear
JDM Manifold, DC Sports decat & centre section with a Janspeed backbox (also have...
Never had a problem with iTunes on PC since 9, admittedly I haven't heard anything about 11. Will google.
Works great ATM with remote on my phone too, one thing I hate is not being able to view all songs by one artist, unless I'm just being special.
Much, much better than standard VTS brakes mate, I imagine your VTR ones will be even smaller than the VTS ones too?
What happened to me was I had a Mk1 VTS with the 283mm brakes, and then I bought a Mk2 which was standard. I couldn't believe how bad the brakes felt in comparison so I swapped...
I had either Saxo VTS, Speedline Chronos or some 15" steels through the course of the time I had with the car.
They're a tight fit, even with 15's.
Looked best behind VTS wheels IMO.
Great project, the 283mm brakes are all you need mate.
You can get them from GTI-6's, but also Partner/Berlingos which might be a bit cheaper, and Xsara VTS off the top of my head!
They wont fit under those VTR wheels though, 15" min.
If you want to keep your wheels, the 266mm brakes will go...
Cheers pal, yeah I agree, I don't really like them.
I think the game changes at 21 year old, I couldn't even get a quote on a JDM at 20, well Flux quoted me 10k but obviously that doesn't count!
Cheers pal!
You bought a 59 plate Seat to save money? Seems legit ;)
Sometimes I wish I had...
Found this on a random youtube browse, pretty interesting, not sure how old it was - certainly seems older than the 2007 upload date judging by what people are wearing!
also mutton chops @ 7:00 :dead:
I can't insure a JDM, literally.
Oh dear! An Ibiza :dead: I had one for 2 months between the BMW and the Integra. Hated it (well it was okay in a straight line)
That's a good price! Although it cost me £6 and a few hours work to do the arches, DIY ftw ;)
Going to get some more Hammerite tonight on my way home to tidy up the front wishbones, they looked shocking when I was under the car last night.
Thanks mate
spent 7 hours cleaning the inner arches and doing a general tidy up on the exterior/interior on Saturday, went out for a drive on Sunday to Squires Cafe and the clutch started playing up!
Managed to get it to work and back yesterday but the damage is pretty bad so I've left it at...
So spent a good hour or so in the Apple store tonight and can't decide to go 13 or 15 inch.
But it works both ways, if I get the 15" I'll surely then be wishing I had gone retina?
Any 13" owners out there who were in the same situation and have regrets??
