Depends how handy you are with a spanner - they're not complicated but unless you have a rough idea i wouldn't want to risk it.

Anybody got any skillz or a rough idea what would/wouldn't work?
Basically we've moved to serviced offices and they claim to have an answerphone that picks up our messages, but since we've been here we haven't had any (we were getting 4/5 a week)

Wow wow wow. Slow down tiger. 1st things 1st try a new battery - they can be the cause of many things. also try earthing the engine (negative battery terminal to the lift eye on the engine) and see what happens. those would be the 1st port of call.
Yeah, i mean its do'able, but trust me its a complete ball ache. i spent 6 wekends stripping it all down and having a look at various parts, and doing as much as i could etc - but i just resigned myself to the fact that i would need someone else to do the timing.
