    Need help

Rear shocks will be leaking oil, have a look underneath, if they're wet looking, they will need replaced.

Its still a good solid waste of money regardless.

    My Scirocco

Not bad, but unless you're running serious power, TTRS brakes are massively overkill.

    Mini 2019 John Cooper Works

I appreciate how good these are, but those rear lights are comically bad.

    Salon Privé - Blenheim Palace.

That red Carrera GT had aged a lot lot better than the usual silver ones. Good pictures, Bicester.

    e46 M3 Individual. Version 2.

That is absolutely stunning, Dave! Aegan blue lol Some of the names car manufacturers name their paints make me assume they're f**king high! "Ah yes, its centre of the earth iron silver"

Are all non sport black clios Pearl black?

For the age of car you're looking to replace for, it would be easier/less hassle to have it painted.

    NEW dephaser pulley still noisy?

If this wasn't a specialist garage that done the work, i'll bet two things; The dephaser wasn't changed The timing will be retarded/advanced

Do I need a fuel rail guard?

Makes dipping the oil easier if nothing else.

    Peugeot 106 GTi track project

They're only 935kg's standard so i wouldn't be surprised if its around the 850kg's mark..

    Peugeot 106 GTi track project

A well peddled one with 150bhp will stay with a lot of seriously more powerful cars.. What weight is it?
  16. Poopensharten

    Peugeot 106 GTi track project

I love that. I've had both a VTS/GTI so know where the appeal lies. That JP4 engine is superb. My standard 106 made 134bhp lol.

    Car been vandalised. Urgh.

I could not deal with this, i would rather be attacked by someone than have my car anonymously targeted by billy big stones. These folk are up there with paedophiles.

    Pre-Production Clio V6 Ph2 with Vin - 001

Its also been for sale for an eternity. I appreciate what it is, but as said, a desirable colour Phase 2 would be a far better bet in the long run.

Can i only change the dephaser? or a whole timing job's needed?

Have you done it before? The tools come up on here periodically for about £100-£120. For the part price and hassle of acquiring the tools, you're likely to save yourself less than £100/200.

    Cam belt

Crack on mate. Even mechanics canny get it right!😂 But for the sake of how much it costs and the sheer hassle of it, i'd personally just get it done at a specialist. If it fails then your cars off the road for a few weeks, at least the works guaranteed at a garage.
  27. Poopensharten

    Cam belt

My local specialist reckons that 4/5 of every Clio that comes in has either advanced or retarded timing. Unless i was doing them day in day out, i'd just take the c**t to a garage. £450/500 is not a great deal after you consider the dephaser and belt kit is around £270 anyway, not including...

Just ordered a Clio 200t edc.. Exciting

They're supposedly pretty good on fuel when just taking it easy, being a 1.6 it can't be any worse than the 200/197's.
