Hi mate nope it's the same alcontara that recaro use on their trendline seats as fitted in the meg r26 and 182 trophy so it just happens to match perfectly (well 95% perfectly) Another reason why I didn't go for full leather as it matches the doors and alcantara is nicer imho

im going down to have them fitted next monday (16th) and have just recieved a pic of one of the covers with the finished embroidery... obviously its a dodgy pic and as he explained it will look amazing once fitted and tensioned up so its mega tight..but it shows the logos and red stitching...

What is your budget Sam? Mk1 or 2? I think there is plenty of truly cherished examples, but they don't usually go for the normal prices... Whereas most of the ones on pistonheads that go cheaply will be cheap for a reason such as high miles, lots of owners etc

Ive never actually found this with any of mine (3 of them)?? But I do have a thing for nice warm cars, my heating is usually well up anyways lol

the smell is a highlight of every drive in the vee its a real oily, petroly engine smell inside, smells great :D they are so far removed from any other hot clio its really a case of you have to experience one before you believe it

The v6 yes, it will never be sold The twingo 133 (basically a 1.6 Clio 182) will be sold in 3 years time, for something newer and better at the time, I love it...but it's not by any means irreplaceable..

Are you buying the standard cloth recaro PP's? As of January this year recaro hiked the prices up 40%, that seems very cheap
