they are shinny when the car is clean. The car is dirty so they are dull. Should i take quick detailer with me, so i can clean the car when im leaving it somehwere next time :rolleyes:

its mine mate :) went clothes shopping.

ive removed the a/c from my ph1, used all the parts off a clio cup. Noticed a difference, seemed to rev up better. I bought a clio cup heater motor aswel though, so all the a/c was removed in the bulk head aswel.

does anyone know how easy/hard are the side strips to remove?

i just looked at vids of the oreca race system now. Mine sounds alot different. They sound high pitched, raspy. Empty sounding. Mine sounds fuller, bit deeper sounding. And doesnt drone as much when easing off. Probably not far off as loud though when on cam.

its probably around the same when mine comes on cam, just my system doesnt sound as hollow (if you get me) think my backbox has a bit more packing than that. I should get a vid up of it really. Sounds awsome, and when i ease off its pop pop bang :D

i was looking at buying an OMP system for my 172, couldn't find one anywhere. So i had prospeed make me one with a slight few alterations. 2.5" decat back, straight through to the back box. 2.5" cut tail pipe. sounds amazing! Rasp rasp rasp :D and its not quiet as you can imagine.

can someone give me more info on the dci jc5 gearbox please? Interested in this.

looking to buy a spare bottom end for the clio and build it up slowly. Seen a few people going down the 2.1 route. And fancy going down that route myself. Just for a rough idea, where would i search for 2.1 pistons, not just slight over bore ones. Cheers in advane, gez :)

i thought the civic had launch control?

iv'e been in this clio and i can also say its not the usual lumpy idle. The car idles around 500-600rpm and you cant drive it until it clears.

i was glad i bought my ph1 as a non runner, car is in really good condition, and with the engine having a rebuild i know exactly what ive got. Doubt ill sell mine, will be towed to track day once its finished being a daily.
