Saturday, having a mare with gaskets at the moment, IVe got brand original Honda ones, and a generic 2.5" triangular metal one. Neither fit, so I need to sort it out tomorrow, but Im off to look at an ST in the morning with my mate, so not sure what Im gonna do yet!
It calms down, when I first got them fitted a girl I was seeing at the time asked if something was broken when we stopped at some traffic lights, but that was a few hours after fitting them lol
I always held TDI in high regard, but the way they post has really put me off them TBH, they just seem a bit pushy and "we're the best", CPL were quite the opposite, guided me through both options and explained them. I can only base my opinion on services Ive personally received , I've received...
Im getting slated for having a reflash on here!
http://type-r-owners.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?87730-K100-vs-CPL-Reflash
Anyone else think they are just not getting my point? Ive got the same name on there as here
Completely different cars mate, the ST is a warm hatch, great car, nice scope for mods, but its not really up there with the 182/Type R's in terms of performance, and never will be, just enjoy it for what it is, a well built, reliable fun car.
Right as you know I sent my ECU to CPL on Monday at 11am.
I got an e-mail off Lynn yesterday evening with the Tracking Number for my reflashed ECU. I kept tracking it, and it was going to arrive before 1pm today. Now I started work @ 1pm, and wanted to take the car, and it needed fuel, so...
Tuesday 5th March, Virgin are coming back, 100mb Fibre Line, £50 installation £35 a month. I will be able to Youtube and view the gif thread once more :D
Lol well I did want a manifold/inlet but now its off to be mapped its not worth doing any more.
Im going to Book a holiday to New York hopefully for October, so spending any more on cars will be out the window once thats booked.
I do want some Red LCA's though lol.
ECU's gone off today, that should be back Wednesday, I've paid my mechanic to do my exhaust and Brakes this week, so the whole project "Should be finished" by the weekend.
Added it all up today, including all labour and postage, I've spent just shy of £1400 this month. In all fairness, I should...
and the S2000.
In the Focus I've drove you have the key card on you like in your pocket and just press the button with your foot on the brake I think. Thats pretty trick IMO

Its the most pointless mod Ive ever done, yes you do need to turn to stage 2 ignition then start. TBH the way Ive wired it I dont have to use the button, its a novelty I know.
Did a bit more, got power to the switch, and put the centre console back together :)
Just need to link the red wire into this black and white wire now and put the cowling back on.
I then started taken my ECU out for the reflash tomorrow. Simple job, disconnect the battery, undo 3x 10mm...
Right well been as the ECU is going off tomorrow, I wont be able to use the car, so I decided to at least start my S2000 Button install:
Started by stripping the steering column cowling and the centre console:
In this picture you can see the Triangular "sensor" panel. Now, the JDM Civic has...
Pathetic this is!
For example, these are taken from my iPhone 5 on 3G:
and on the house wifi:

I've also tried without the filters, just the Sky Hub and no phone line, even took the panel off and used to test socket behind it to no avail!
Got everything needed now for the S2000 Starter Button. Slight confession, the Button isn't "Genuine", its part of a complete kit you can buy. Its all nicely hardwired and comes with instructions. At one point I will possibly upgrade to a genuine S2000 item, they are around £50 from the dealer...
Around £1.5k itll cost all in when its done. As I said won a fair amount in the G Casino other day, and got paid yesterday, so thats paid for the remap. Only spent about £500 out of my "own" money in real terms! I get paid 13x a year so once a year I have a set of wages with no out goings as all...
Not aiming for a particular power output, 220bhp seems to be the expected with the mods I have, but the real improvement is in the midrange, it wil hopefully incerease arouns 35bhp there. The other benefit is Vtec will engage 800rpm earlier, and it will rev higher. So Ill be "on cam" earlier and...
Thanks Phil :)
Honestly, cant believe how amazing the car handles now! I was skeptical spending £600 ish on handling, but honestly even at low speeds its more fun and confidence inspiring. Really shocked at the difference its all made, recomend it to every one!
Been on the phone to Lynn and...
LOL, no its just stupid! Why has it got a pen as well? Hello the 90's called, they want their PDA's back.
Its ridiculously big, no need for it to be that big. A Mobile is designed to be mobile, that Note 2 is like my iPad FFS
