My manifold made hella sparks too. Like the time i landed on a branch and it pulled the fuel filter off and the sparks ignited the fuel.... (that may or maybe not the reason I sold my GTi....)

Cheap welds and the stainless isn't as good. It won't fall apart like... Supersprints are strong though, after a but of air in mine it landed full on the manifold, the manifold didn't give but the engine mounts did!

Rallye Register is better, just. They tend to be all w*****s. Mani on a OEM exhaust is the only way to roll, all of the power, none of the c**ty noise.

What's it like on motion lotion? My mates MK4 R32 gives 27mpg. My TT V6 gives 30 mpg.

The chains can stretch but it is rare. Bit like the E36 Vanos hype etc...

It looks far better though. It's averaging 28.1 mpg. My 225 averaged 30.8 mpg. So not far off!
