Even at a track venue, it could hypothetically still be that further bit north, Ron - there is no denying its pretty far south.
That said, if it doesn't suit to go, i wont go!
I find the RS3's fine in the dry - as a middle of the road tyre they're fine for all road use. Unless you're driving it at 10/10ths all of the time the Rainsports are good mate!
As said, they genrally are fairly robust/reliable outwith the electrical niggles - in no way shape or form are they anymore unreliable then their counterparts.
