Its either the wiring plug at the back of the control panel or the resistor under the windscreen by the wiper motor, id start there might just need some WD40.

Id change the cambelt while the engine is out, just to be on the safe side.
Unless you know it has already been done.

Id say the bulb needs changing in there too.
You need to remove your stereo
undo the 4 screws
remove the stereo flap and bit under the heater controls
undo 2 screws that hold the heater controls
Move it inwards and out so not to scratch it.
Refitting is the same in reverse.

They are prone to clogging up the backs of the blocks if the cooling system is not maintained properly, this results in a leaking headgasket.
But if they are looked after then they are no worse than any other engine.

These cars are meant to be driven hard and as long as it is serviced regularly it shouldnt be a problem.
Adi bought mine and has no regrets!

My old red one has reciepts for over £8,000, this was when i sold it to Adi, so must have a bit more now!
Still, small price to pay for the fastest 16v;)

Could also do the Fuel Filter if you want.
5L might not be enough, depends which sump you have as they are all different sizes.
Gearstick moving is probably the dogbone engine mount, rear of the engine at the bottom.
Dont think you can buy the lenses seperately as they are sealed.

Last time i tried that, it was actually quicker with the 57i on instead of a standard box with replacement k&n, this was done at York last year.
Look at the timing slips to see what the diff was.

The handbook says to check it every 6000 miles but i dont think changing it is actually part of the service schedule!
Not hard, get it done with some fully synthetic oil.
