I would say diff then! I replace driveshafts and checked all sorts of things before new gearbox, It's always going to be difficult cutting to the chase!

Diff!!!! Cost of another gearbox. Cost me £900 all in! Does it only do it from about 35-45mph? And when cruising it goes away? But as soon as you plant your foot again it comes back?

Straight to skoda is cheapest. Get a second person to centre up the splitter. Waz a load of self tapping screws in. Cut the ends off with a sharp blade. Job done

The diff went on my ph1. I sourced new box. Got it rebuilt. Had it fitted cost me near on £900

I have a missing backbox sized hole in my exhaust at the moment. It's bloody loud, but isn't any rougher than when it was on! New exhaust going on this week!
