Can you put a link up to that road here on google maps?
I fancy myself some rig action on that road with my new setup :)
Will need some volunteers too ;)
It sounds s**t. Seriously don't bother.
I'm sure for the first 10 miles you'll think it sounds epic, but it will soon get tiresome.
There's an Evo5 near me that has something similar, sounds like a machine gun going off. Epic it is not.
Great shot Matt! The rider does look a little lost in the pic for me, but I guess that's due to the wideangle nature of the shot. I really want to get into BMX/MTB photography.
You're only really going to notice the effects of weight removal if you do it properly, ie. strip EVERTHING, which isn't something you're going to want to do.
12bhp sounds a bit optimistic. Where was that at?
^ It might do, I'd pick the one with the least distortion. I shoot the products at work using an 85mm TS lens, bugger all distortion and razor sharp - so perfect for the job.
At a guess I'd say the 80-200 would be the one to go for.
Can you keep it in a garage?
I never really had any issues driving it in winter, although the last winter wasn't as bad as the years before. I kept it in the garage so I didn't have to worry about de-icing etc. With the fan as good as it is...or not....I cant imagine it happens that quickly. But...
