running lean topend means at he top end of the revs 5-7k, its not getting enough petrol, has the air avaible but not enough juice to match. getting it remapped again so the air/fuel ratio is spot on= morepower:D , a rough at the fly guess would be around 170bhp, again not to bad as its not...
thought id post up my vid of the car on the rollers at hillpower last sat, car mada 141bhp at the wheels, not to bad considering its running lean top end ( not sure if you could tell by the vid ) , its a 2.0l f7r , piper cams and pulleys, hillpower chip mapped to engine, valver manifold, itg and...
i was there, got 141bhp atw. i would of liked to get a bit more but the car is running lean topend, once the fuelings sorted should get abit more, was happy enough with my result tho. imo i think that hillpowers rollers seem to be a good guide to what the car is making....
would'nt say that was bad, as maz said its an at the wheel fig which once u add tran loss at around 20% u get 181bhp at the fly, not bad considering the engs still tight.. should go up as u put more miles on it:D
imo i would'nt go spending money on the 1.8, its is a very good engine, ive had 2 ( 1st seemed loads better than the 2nd ) but the 2.0l is so much more than an extra 13 bhp imo, hell of a lot easier to drive fast not always ringing its neck and you see better gains when u mod it. you could...
not to bad, just a bit of plastic going to sort a second hand one, that should do it... also got to get my tracking checked as most of the tyre ended in a pile of dust, not good
had a good day today apart from a small accident with my car coming off the rollers oh well not to worry easy to fix, car made 141hp atw but was told its running lean top end so im going back to get my modded pump fitted and also get it remapped, he said there is more in it just got to sort the...
thanks for the comments peeps, mattyh id keep yours as it is as that seems fine to me, torsion bar is very easy to do basicly take out bars adjust arm to required height then bang the f**k out the bars with a hammer to get them back in ( little bit more to it but a very easy job imo ) there were...
