The top right hand corner bracket snapped. A common problem which happens to pretty much all of them at some point. It had already been replaced once under warranty, but only lasted a few weeks. I had a root through a box of junk in my dads garage and found something I could use instead. It...
Looks amazing Chris. It's great to see the car is still in the club, and being VERY well looked after.
Can I still see my ECU bracket fix, or has it had a new one?
Some seriously impressive cars on here at the moment.
Did that used to be grey? I'm sure I ran it for a while when my Trophy was off the road. A friend of mine owned it at the time and let me borrow it.
I was there both days. I thought you and other Chris were going, but didn't spot either of you. I did spend a fair bit of time in the hospitality though, or doing grid walks.
Not great, as the new layout means there's a sodding great fence in the way of the hospitality balcony!

It's fine on the pad, the inputs are slowed down a little and lock reduction is used at high speeds, the same as any racing game on a pad. It was harder in F1 though due to the need for fast steering at high speeds through some of the chicanes.
My bad, I meant the video they were refering to on the Codies forums. The Lotus around Canada one.
The VVV videos all look fantastic. He plays the game properly though, and doesn't set out to just pick faults.
I met that guy back at the first showing of the game to the press. He came to our launch event in London. I spent ages chatting to him. He's a really nice guy.
I just watched one of those videos. It did look like he had most the assists turned on. No wheel spin or locking up under braking.
I love the way they're all experts and yet they've never even played the game. You can't tell sh*t from a video. There are lots of things which change how the AI behave. Their pace changes over the course of a race, especially a longer distance race. They also have certain tracks where they...
G25 is a lot better, but at a price. I use an old GT 4 model of the Force GT at home, and I'm happy with it.
To be honest, my fave wheel for playing F1 games is a really old one from Logitech. It's clunky and not very smooth, but it's got just the right sized wheel and lock to feel right...
No release date has been announced for DiRT 3 officially as far as I know.
Err, I have some idea of who might be doing it, but that's only gossip and best I don't so any more. So realistically, I have no idea. LOL
Unfortunately not. There's a few reasons why. The first one is that the teams have signed off all the cars, and we would have to go through a long winded submission processes with them. Secondly, we don't have the capacity to do it now the car team are in full flow on DiRT 3, and finally it...
I spent ages with that guy at our media launch. He's a really nice guy and couldn't wait to play F1. He's pretty good too and makes it look a lot easier than it is.
Eurogamer review is up, but they've missed the sodding score off! http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-09-17-f1-2010-review
They've now added the score. 8/10.
Depending on the severity of the weather, sometimes your race engineer will let you know what's going on. He'll also tell you when another driver has swapped to a different tyre, and when they're lap times are looking stronger than yours.
No, we always give you a full tank for the race, but you can run out based on driving style and using the fast throttle setting.
