I milked a few before I had to give my disc back. lol We won't get our copies of the game until the 24th. As we worked on it we get a proper retail disc, where as the games the company did we only get press copies.
Only a couple to be honest. I've not had the time. The ones I did were Multiplayer too. The way the whole strategy thing plays out is epic. You could be running at the front for most the race as everyone else stopped earlier, or ran the options for the start, then at the end you pit and...
The standard season is GP mode. You pick your driver add all tracks and there it is. Totally separate from Career mode. I'm so pleased they like the feel.
TBH I don't know.
The IGN review is now up: http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/112/1120745p1.html
A solid 8.5/10 :D
My fave quote: "But such teething problems don’t obscure the fact that F1 2010 is easily the best Grand Prix game since Geoff Crammond was on the beat."
You would rather have realism and a feature which pisses you off when the people you are racing keep crashing? People want things because they're in the sport, they don't stop to consider the effect it has on gameplay. Plus it would be a massive amount of work to get it in and make it work, for...
LOL, no safety car in 2010 at all. Believe me, it's not an easy thing to get in, plus there's a cost attached to it. At the end of the day, where's the fun in sitting behind a slow car for a few laps?
It's not, it's the same.
The reason the 360 version is always used is because more people have the hardware here, so it's easier to put builds together on 360. Plus the 360 versions passed first, so we already have some silver discs for that.
I know. Even though I paid a premium for it I've certainly got more than my monies worth out of it. My new one has arrived. I'm just transfering all my data over. :approve:
I tend to use shop.to jimbo. I ordered my Xbox at 4 yesterday, and it was here at 8am this morning.
I'll have PC and 360 to get the achievement out there. I'll probably have a PS3 copy too but that achievement doesn't exist on PS3 as Sony recently banned viral achievements.
I won't win every race. F1 is too unpredictable for that. With 12 real people it could be chaos unless you get away from the pack. If I am winning I'll do one where you can beat me to get the achievement.
When you're rich and famous you get free stuff. I tried to blag one but failed. Instead...
Lewis currently games on PS3, but we've given him an Xbox, and we're getting MS to sort him out an account.
His bro is very good considering he has to use the buttons to acclerate and brake as he's unable to use the pedals. He'd had a couple of days practice at the game, where as Lewis ony...
My parents did. Exactly the same thing as with markkram, they just put them on Unlimited.
I went Unlimited after a few months on the Mid package they used to offer. It's been well worth it for the extra performance.
It was all done properly over Xbox Live. If you watch the footage back you'll notice a 4th car. That was one of the lads in QA. Due to the firewall settings at both locations we needed someone to run as the host. All of the practice and race footage was filmed as it happened.
He was...
Cheers mate. Getting that together was one of the most stressful things I've ever done, but man was it worth it. I spent hours poking around with different network connections, while Lewis sat next to me practicing.
The only wheels I've played the game with have been the Fanatec Porsche Turbo S, Official MS, G25/27 and the trusty old Logitech GT. I'd say me least favourite is the Fanatec, purely because it's a road car wheel and feels odd being so large, but the Clubsport pedals are the nuts.
With strict rules on there are drive through penalties or time penalties if it's too late to serve the drive through. Corner cutting or aggressive driving are also penalised. No cheap sticky grass for us.
