Saw this today and got a demo done. Seems like a good alternative to isofix base mounts, but still uses the isofix rear mounts and with the backplate supplied, the top tether goes over the top of the rear bench and hooks back onto the isofix rear mount. 360 too which is what I'd ideally like.
Have to admit Ash, I prefer the look of the F1s in 15" also.
2118s do look good on it, but are you tempted to get the 15" f1s also or keep as it is for now.
Interesting about the dension kit, never knew about that.
It's an definitely a appealing product.
I've been doing a few headlight corrections of late on various cars. This seems like a great cheap fix. Obviously it doesn't polish out scratches, just makes them cleaner/less yellow but the price is decent. Much cheaper than buying a kit or getting all...
Would you recommend it over the normal rapid detailer.
I have the former and am impressed with it. Like you say, the flash off is nice and easy. Doesn't feel grabby. Wondering if it's worth the extra for this.
I was going to make another batch of these. These have been threaded inside the sleeve to accommodate a M8 stud over the normal M6. They have been loctighted in with high strength loctight as shown for extra security. All that's needs doing is the hole on the alternator bracket where the stud...
Sorry @Kev@KAM what I should say is I've never put race pads in the rear of my clios, so I can't comment on the difference.
Have read many times that people say the rears don't do a lot, so for me I it seemed not worth to put pads that are £40 extra in for no benefit. However, if there was a...
@Louis that's what I was thinking. If there was a deal with a set, I'd be on it but it does seem that £70 extra over what it was puts me off a tad.
Hear many people say that the rears don't do a lot, baybe because they've not put proper rear pads in? I never have so I can't comment really.
Is there anyone doing any deals on these? Been thinking of getting the track ones but I know people was getting the rears as well, although a black Friday deal rings a bell.
Haha, nah clio is staying. (Writes a for sale next week!)
The plan is to keep a car seat in wife's car and buy another to keep in the clio.
I will try the one we have in the clio and I'd imagine the 360 will come in handy, being a 3 door, but it will be bulky.
Sorry, I should have mentioned that we currently have a Joie 360 i-spin in my wife's car and yes the 182 has isofox.
I should try it really, but was just seeing what others have had or got.
I'm sure some have had a baby seat in a mk2 clio. When my wife goes back to work in August, she will be dropping our son at her mum and dad's for them to child care and I will pick him up when I finish work so will need a child seat.
Just wandering what ones people have had/got.
Here's a pic...
I'm not sure if people have mentioned this, but this does wonders for sooted up exhausts. Pretty cheap from the likes of B&M, poundland, etc but sure the bigger shops sell it too.
