Yeah the diesel is very effort less, when I've took it over the moor roads you can just leave it in 5th and have a lot of fun where as my mates who drive petrols seem to be changing a lot to chase the power an use a lot more fuel when they do the same run

The dcis are quiet when on motorways and dual carriage ways only thing you hear is road noise, the engine is smooth especially the 106 with the 6 speed gear box, and tbh easier to drive than the 1.2tce, mine gets 60mpg easily. Ignore people that have put the concept in your head that diesels...
