    Epic Driving Meet...

I remember on SaxP some lad's were trying to organise a meet for a drive and wanted me to tag along. Not a chance. Majority of the people who wanted to go weren't past their 20s, didn't have a great deal of driving experience and - not to say they are idiot's - but i just would not take that...

    Which colour....

Bright colours always look gash imo. On the Saxo i used Hammerite Hammered Dark Blue, as the car was dark blue and it looked great. On the Clio i will be going black though. Dark colours ftw. Don't want to show off you have standard callipers lol.

    Mansfield, Oak Tree Tesco

Spotted a silver 172, 51 plate iirc. Had a ClioSport.net sticker in rear window.

    Interior Pics...

Nothing beat's proper bucket seat's imo. My lady friend even preferred the Sparco's in my Saxo to the standard's in my 172.

Off to look at a 182

He's not a bad lad really folks, ought to be used to the banter being from SaxP ;) See your thread on SaxP for what i recommend to check dude.

Someone to set my 172 up

Now you've said that, it makes perfect sense! Cheers for that pal. Really looking forward to starting on the Clio, making it my own. Although i must stop myself from going as mad as i did the Saxo lol. Modifying = Expensive Hobby!

Someone to set my 172 up

That one on Anglian way is 10 minute's from my house. Just out of interest, what sort of difference should i expect altering camber to make? How does more camber affect the car? And how does less camber affect it? Never really had to play around with camber on the Saxo!

    Detailling.

Lol, i thought it but was too polite to say it! On another note, i try to do it for family and friends... But i struggle in all fairness. I work 5 day's a week and 2 out of 3 Saturday's on top. Often on a Saturday by the time i get home i simply don't have enough time left and through the...

Someone to set my 172 up

Nice one buddy. May sound a dumb question this, but how do i figure those geometry settings out? I'm guessing it all depends on how low down i go?

Crossed my mind before too and those exact reasons are why i haven't attempted tbh.

    Detailling.

It's an awkward one tbh. Especially at this time of year as less people would want your services i reckon. Pricing you'd be better off probably doing it as to how good you are at it? Then when you start getting really good you can rise your prices. And again, this weather... You ideally need...

Someone to set my 172 up

Hopefully in the next couple of month i'm going to get some coilover's sorted out. But i haven't got a clue who to take it to for setting the camber etc up once i've fitted them. Any recommendation's? :) Local as possible but not mind an hours trip if i have to lol.

    Silver 182 Machine polished

Depends what you want to pay really, for the money Collonite waxes are worth checking out. I've heard very good stuff about it. Personally i use Dodo Juice waxes though, Supernatural on mine but might be a bit pricey for some. Car looks brilliant either way. I do love those wheels!

    In Memory of Moo's Saxo

Was a tasty car. When i saw the engine being built on SaxP i watched it very closely. The second i saw that Fisher was buying it i knew it was going to go downhill. I see the reasons why he's done what he's done, but his original plans was basically to make it the same as his but with Moo's...

Should always clean the inside's of the wheels ;) Annoy's the hell out of me when people have nice wheels and only clean half!! Car looks smart pal, unsure on the sticker's on the side skirt's though!

Re: Dimma Clio Cosworth Clio V6 is rather similar in all fairness Personally, love them pal. And good to see some people are having them restored and looking after them. One day they will be worth a fair whack i reckon.

    Red 172 - Cup?

Monaco Blue seems quite uncommon too, yea. 182's in red were the Trophy, yea. Also Inferno, but that's more of an Orange i suppose.

    Red 172 - Cup?

I'd never seen a Flame Red 172 'til i got mine. But i have only seen one since, so i think it is pretty safe to say you won't see many. 480 were made for the UK Click on Sales Data and Colour Range

    Red 172 - Cup?

I've recently swapped my Mauritius Blue VTR for my Flame Red 172 and i can honestly say that the Clio is sooooooooooo much easier to keep clean. You can't beat a dark colour, they look brilliant - but only when clean. Flame Red imo looks awesome clean and is a lot easier to keep looking...
