Pretty sure it does.
I just dont remember it auto locking after you open the door, then close it.
I remember if you unlock the car, DON'T open a door, it re-locks itself after a while though.
It's pretty hard to see if the pics are sharp when looking at resized photos. Do they look sharp when looking at them 100%?
Secondly, a super wide angle lens like the 10-20mm is a very specific use lens. My 16-35mm is pretty equivalent to that (as it's full frame), and I dont use it that often...
First off, what do you want to use the lens for?
For me, I only get a new lens if I want to use it specifically for something. For example, when I got my 85mm 1.4 lens, it was because I wanted those really shallow DoF shots at weddings etc....Brides love those types of shots!
You dont seem to...
Well maybe we can make these photography meets more regular, and in different places. I'm pretty central so can travel most places, if it's worth it ;)
I'm shooting Dave's (bombers) wedding, and I think that will be my last. Unless it's to someone I know well too.
I'd love to be a second photographer for a really experienced person, you'd learn A LOT doing that.
Thanks for the comment Zmaster, much appreciated.
I would by no means consider myself a pro, I'm just a serious amateur.....and I always will be.
I'm not that bothered about making money from photography, as I know it'll just be the odd bit of cash here and there. Unless I really dedicated all...
Saw this link on dpreview.com this morning.
Yet more people winging about the 'crazy' prices of photographers, shame they don't actually know what goes into a days wedding photography.
I really dont get that modifying 'scene'. They all look ridiculous to me, they must drive like s**t too.
It just seems to be about 100% show, 0% go. Which to me is daft!
Hmmm ok.
Well if we can get a list together by the end of the week, then I'll call up and enquire if we can get in.
Wonder how much his prints would be too?!
Right chaps,
Feb 10th is a go!
I'll be definitely going, as will Dunganick (the awesome motorsports photographer).
The plan at the moment is to meet at Charing Cross between 2.30 and 3pm. Then hopefully heading off to the Darren Heath exhibition for a quick visit (you can always meet us...
Nice one Scott.
I tried this for the first time last year with encouraging results. I just need to find an area with dark enough skies near me, damn light pollution!!
Thanks for the tips Brazo. I've only got a big heavy Manfrotto tripod, I've done this sort of thing before so I know what to expect lol
I'm not worried about security, tbh I'd be quite keen to tell them to f-off (politely) as we are 100% within our right to take photos (on public land).
I'll...
I'm no better lol! Last time I got the train into Paddington, then underground to Embankment. Walked literally every else.
As long as I end up in Paddington by the end of the night, I don't mind where we go.
That should be fine. If I were doing this on my own, I'd aim to get into London around 2-3pm, then shoot for a few hours, get some grub, then shoot for a few more in the evening.
For those that can't get the afternoon off, could always meet us later in the evening for the night shots.
Dunraven Bay is a must for sunset photography. Been there four times now, only once was it a bit naff due to the weather (it was awful!)
Nash Point is good too.
Penarth Pier is great for sunrise shots, that's pretty much just outside Cardiff iirc.
What kind of shots do you want?
I'll be getting the Evesham to Paddington train, which I'm pretty sure goes through Worcester beforehand.
Not sure on the time yet, depends if it's even on, and what time people want to meet.
Cool.
The only trouble with having a half day is we're commited.
If by Thursday night, the weather looks crap from the Friday - we're screwed. I guess we'll just have to risk it.
ooooo!!
Love his work! Great guy to follow on twitter too.
Well if I say the 10th, we'll see how many people can do it. If not, we'll try another day.
Probably easier than saying, 'what date is best?'
So peeps, see if you can get half day on the 10th (I hope I can get that off too lol!)
