Thing is, when we checked the battery with the multimeter, it was reading 12.7V then shot up to over 14V when the engine was on, which is obviously normal. Be interesting to see what the battery reading is after a few days of not being driven though. Suppose that will show whether its losing...

You'll definitely want to take the spacers out that are under the seats. Even for me at 5ft 9 at a push, it made a considerable difference. You could always go one step further and fit buckets on Jon Foz lowered frames too. Can get an aftermarket steering wheel and fit a spacer to bring it...

Not really, it's more the making out you've doing a big overhaul of the car and 'saved it' when in reality, all he's done is easy, cosmetic bits. Couple that with the fact there's no mention of the bits buyer's should be looking at. @RustyMojo has summed it up perfectly.
