Upgraded to a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, MSI X670E, 32GB DDR4 7200MHz and a Noctua DH-15 Chromax
I'll have my old Ryzen 7 5800X, ASUS TUF B550M, Cryorig H7 and 64GB DDR4 for sale if anyone is looking to upgrade slightly
£300, have all the boxes apart from the Adata RAM box
Yeah the Borg and Beck one has been sound. I had one issue with it at a trackday at Cadwell where the splined shaft sleeve had moved and chewed my diff seal
I put a tack of weld on there and it's been sound ever since, done 2 full trackdays and a few hundred road miles
If it was a farmers car you'll need to strip it back to a bare chassis and have it dipped in 100% hydrochloric acid to get rid of the smell
I would start by stripping the seats and carpet out and giving it a proper air out
Yeah you can buy any shim needed off the shelf mate
I've got some really small shims in the garage somewhere but I can't remember what they are or where they are. I got them off Scottish Ben F years ago (be fucked if I know his name on here🤣)
If anyone with a homelab is interested in buying some old hardware (Dell Poweredge R510/R720XD/R330/R430/R630/R730) then do let me know
I will do you a reasonable deal, they won't come with any drives though. Cos GDPR innit
I'm sort of the same, I have zero interest in having a home lab. I have a gaming PC and that's my limit really
Some of the people I work with have their full houses on smart everything. To the point one of the lads is using his Nissan Leaf for STOR and has everything in his house on Home Assist...
Not getting any daft tyre wear. My plan before making this post was to add some rear camber and to reduce the toe a little bit to around 0°15' using a 15 min shim on either side. But if I added a camber shim and a toe shim wouldn't that f**k everything up?
Thinking of ditching the Braid wheels...
Never really set any of the arse end up so I have no idea. I'm definitely going to add some camber. I originally thought of adding another -1.5⁰ in the rear and then possibly adding some more in the front
Feels good tbh, but I've not really got much to compare it to so maybe it could always be...
Sounds a lot like my old employer which ryhmes with NoBaddy
They've shrunk all their DC infra, sold us off and now have zero presence in the UK for hosting (pops don't count). They came over here like the wild west expecting to take the UK market by storm... And flopped tremendously because the...
@S-JM took me out in his 200T at Cadwell. Considering it's relatively standard I thought it was mint out of the box
Can't imagine what they're like fully stripped and track prepped. I had a hard time trying to shake Steve off at Anglesey, on the straights it's definitely faster
What rear camber and toe has everyone set their rear to on a Clio?
I'm thinking another degree of camber on the rear and straightening the toe completely. Is that stupid or correct?
Theres no such thing as the f**king cloud though. People talk about it like it's some sort of Jesus like creature and packets whizz above our heads like in Charlie and the chocolate factory
It's just in someone else's tin in someone else's Datacentre that they're absolutely rinsing you for...
Until your 2 years of favourable pricing is up and then they introduce you to your new and improved 100% markup contract that you're now struggling to get out of and you're being dry humped over🤣
