I do insurance and tax in one hit so I wasnt thinking of those. I was just trying to get an idea on how much fuel it costs during your week over your miles. I think I do £30ish a week doing 200 miles approx. Just wandered what a boasted one in daily use would cost as a comparison.

No problems whatsoever. I honestly can't see why people would be worried these. I use mine in all weathers and never had an issue. Certainly not one that I remember badly.

Few from the snow season

Standard stuff will be fine. Give it a light scotch, few coats of primer, few coats of paint of your colour and lacquer.

Why would someone do that?! Luckily it was only those bits that got damaged.

No mods on the new arctic at all? Not even billies, or anything?

Just use some light abrasive polish to remove the old decals then place the new ones on. I did that to mine and although they are gone, there is still a faint mark where they used to be so easy to apply the new ones on as you have a starting point. Oh no :(
