I thought the banding happens on the split giving it a deeper dish. I thought et was done from the rear of the hub face which wouldn't change As your altering the diah from the mating face outwards? Or am I completely wrong?

I don't know when it comes to banding scott. However, I do agree and that pic above shows that the rear needs to be wider.

I've ever done my carbon filter, although I've been saying I'll change it for nearly 2 years!! Have you got RB trainers?
