Would that also explain why it's getting so hot? Tbh I'm thinking of buying a new, smaller laptop. Currently looking at the Surface Pro 2 and the Acer S7-391. Then I can get a cheap hard drive and get rid of the XPS.

Got this error when turning the laptop on today. Edit: It won't even boot into startup repair now, it just turns off.

It's the M1530 with 4gb ram, 120gb SSD, 2.5GHz core 2 duo and the 8600 Nvidia card. Also opted for the 1920x1200 screen which is great but text can be too small sometimes.

What would people suggest? New SSD for the XPS or get a new laptop. The XPS is still really quick, quicker than most laptops I've used recently.

I'll give that a go when I get back from the gym. No new software installed. All the laptop is used for is to RDP to my computer so it hardly has any software on it at all.

Booted into safe mode. Tried to open a chrome session and it hung like this. Couldn't do anything or press any keys. The hourglass circle thingy was still spinning and I could move the mouse. Now it's hanging on classpnp.sys

I've not tried that yet I'll give it a go tonight.

Seems to be something more serious than dust. Opened it up and it was surprisingly clean and all the fans are working fine. It's started to lock up after a minute of booting up. Just sticks on the desktop and I can't do anything not even ctrl shift esc. Nothing to do with software, spyware etc...

No. I mean do I have a Milltek system down to the cat or is just the backbox? A Milltek decat doesn't fit so I assumed it was just a backbox.

I have a Milltek exhaust but the pipe to the car fits a standard cat. I thought Milltek required a different decat? See pictures to see what I mean. Do I just have a Milltek backbox?

Seen at 5:10pm today near Castle Marina. Couldn't tell if it had a sticker in the back but it might have. Custom exhaust.

I got 50gb of free space on Dropbox simply by linking it to a Samsung Galaxy S2. I've got an iPhone now and I still have 50gb of space. Using 30gb for my whole photo collection so I can access them using my phone.
