Who is buying and selling cars at the moment?

I work here; Ellanicars.co.uk we are closed to the public due to government restrictions. We have sold a couple of cars to key workers, I even sold a car to an MP yesterday (or the day before, all the days blend in to one.. 😂) the government are not helping us with anything that they’ve...

    Eaaaaaasy cheap mods 182

Remove the scuttle panel and clean out all the leaves and s**t that will eventually cause a water leak in your car. Remove arch liners and clean out all the s**t/dirt/leaves behind them. Same for the side skirts. You’ll probably lose 3kg’s in weight just from that! 😂 order some LED’s for the...

    Cat Uk Teesport

Teesport was the import center where all the new cars came in. When I worked for Renault (2000-2008) new cars either came in to Teesport or Thorn. Once in at either of those import Centres, they were pdi’d, locking wheel nuts fitted, glass etched with part of the Vin and an a Thatcham approved...

Unimpressed by 182, what do you love about it?

You need to go and get drive a few. Good ones are lovely to drive, bad ones are total guff.

Lack of interest in my BG182

I’m not sure if you’ve read the news at all for the last 4 weeks, but there’s a bit of a ‘thing’ going on around the world. It’s somewhat hampered the General Public’s desires to spend money.

172 exhaust fitting kit (manifold to cat)- DIY?

172 cat to manifold joint is a massive MASSIVE pain in the ass. Do not want.

    Another Kangoo 182

Another month means another trackday! March saw us at Castle Combe. This is my local and only 15/20 minutes from my front door. Was a fantastic day. Clear blue skies all morning and pissing down in the PM. It’s like two different circuits when that happens! Not got the pics yet but here’s a...

    172 in a mk1, Superfatdan's very very long project....

She’s done and back in the showroom at work. The race is on to get it out on track at least once during 2020.....

When is it time to call it a day?

Keep it. What’s it worth to sell? £2k? You know it inside out and you enjoy it.

    Ricardo's Kangoo project

I’ve literally torn all my hair out trying to sort out my fuel gauge. It works from half a tank and under and that’s the way it’s staying until someone gives me a definitive solution.

    Another Kangoo 182

So, did Oulton Park in the Van Last month. I’m mental busy at work just now so no time to be taking multiple days off at the minute so long distance track days will have to be put on the back burner. But in true Daniel style, I can’t go a month without a track day so this coming Monday I’m...

    Electrical Blackout 172 PH2

Have you had your UCH tested? (Black module under the glovebox, controls the electrics in the car) lots of company’s recondition them very cheaply and offer a lifetime warranty.

    VW Golf GTI

Get the gearbox serviced again. Regardless of what the previous owner told you. They cost mega bucks when they break so I’d 100% get it done again so you know it’s been done and done properly, for peace of mind. Lovely car though, much prefer the cloth to the leather. It’s what makes the Gti!

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

Bought this the other day. I’ve spent a couple of quid on it the last week or so and now it’s all done (it genuinely needs nothing, it’s mint!) I’m sorely tempted to keep it. You just don’t see them anymore. Especially with 74k and just two owners from new... 😍
