I would be up for this and could bring some cleaning stuff along.
I'm quite sure some of the below guys would be up for popping over from blackpool too.
Apologies to the other local guy with the arctic blue 182 whos username I can't remember.
@JustinS
@jakehamer1994
@Ade182
@JakeyCUK...
Welcome along buddy.
There's a few of us just down the road in blackpool, I have a spare coil pack/leads if you need one to try before buying one I'm quite happy to bring it down to you to try :smile:
Excellent, thank you very much! I had a nightmare in bnq and local diy shops, they all looked at me like I was daft when I explained what I wanted it for.
I'll crack on with building one then now :)
@JamesBryan I was going to build something similar but I hit a bit of a stumbling block with the u-bolts, they seem to be a nightmare to get hold of locally and there's so many different sizes online (I ended up with a tiny test one which is no use to anyone!) did you just get yours online...
Well that sounds fantastic.
I'm quite partial to a nice crx, I was a passenger in one for literally about 20 mins when I was about 15 and I've loved them ever since.
I had a wander down last night to watch the promenade stage, there was a 6r4 there along with a couple of lancias that sound nuts, loads of scoobys as expected and quite a few mk2 escorts of which a racing blue(ish) coloured one is the best sounding car there!
@Daz_ it's bloody freezing down...
A couple of shakey pics from me...

There's a couple...
There's some little washers that sit behind the brake disks that sometimes get refered to as 'spacers' these usually get thrown away by accident and not replaced which can lead to premature wearing to the rear bearings, could be totally off the mark there then
He may mean the washers behind the rear disks? as far as I am aware these are a reason for bearings failing prematurely, however I'm not sure of a way to check them without whipping the disks off and checking.
I have a feeling it will be over pretty quickly too, there is always big bnq down at whitehills as well that has a large open car park with pretty good lighting if I remember correctly, I'll have a think about photo locations local to yeadon way, I'll have cameras and go pro stuff with me...
Also a word of warning to the 'out of towners' yeadon way at the end of the motorway is closed due to road works, I don't think sat navs will take you in that way anyway but just a heads up.
This was posted up over on another forum.
Thought it may be of use to some of the trackday lads, never used the tyres myself so can't comment on them but there seem to be a few people running them on here.
