Are there any taller chaps booked on chap that have fixed buckets?
If I can make it over for a few hours would you mind me trying out your seat if so, struggling to narrow down what to buy and haven't had time to pop to GSM or similar yet 😁
It's looking unlikely that me and the wife are going to be well enough to attend on Saturday unfortunately.
I have a room booked at Scunthorpe Travelodge (about 20 mins north) for the Friday evening, I would like to offer it to @DaveDreads to start with as I saw he was planning on staying in...
Couple more pictures to finish off:
If anyone is thinking about doing a Scottish road trip just get it booked and do it, this is our second one and the place is incredible.
The last few jobs have obviously paid off as the car sailed through its MOT, first car to do that for a while...
Time for an update...
Firstly the car had an awkwardly loud creak turning lock to lock which I assumed was the swivel joints. I ordered a bunch of replacements bits as made sense to do the lot whilst it was apart.
The car got the following:
Upper and lower swivel joints.
New none cup shocks...
My other/better (delete as appropriate) half always comes along, if you see two people with about 2 foot difference in height walking round feel free to say hello!
I think my fiance will be taking this one to the grave, we have tried to put it up for sale twice and she got cold feet both times 😅.
She's had it 4 years and other than the usual rear bearing and calipers replacements they all seem to suffer with it's been pretty faultless.
It currently looks like this, it's a very hated car in the Abarth world hence the (ish) which is a bit of a running joke.
There's a small thread here:
Thread 'Thought I would try a bit of Italian' https://www.cliosport.net/threads/thought-i-would-try-a-bit-of-italian.813675/
It then got its first clean in my ownership, it will get fully detailed in summer but for now standard washes will keep it looking tidy.
Really happy how it looks, I have some 20mm spacers to go on but I really like the look of Rota SS10 (shock horror!) wheels on these so may just go down that...
Started doing a couple of little bits:
Powerflex torque mount insert.
Powerflex lower engine/dogbone mount.
New plugs (old ones didn't look too healthy!).
Thermostat.
Standard airbox.
Whipped the bumper off to sort the driver's headlight that was pointing towards the ground. The two clips...
Hi all!
Well the full circle has got me again, this is Clio number 5 but my first mk3.
Recently sold my Integra and had an E91 325d which proved to be a bit of a pain so I moved that on too. Wasn't really sure what to buy so started browsing the various groups and ended up seeing this.
My...
I recently picked this one up. My fiance wanted to try a couple of track days in her Abarth but I was looking for an excuse to pick something else up anyway...she gave me that.
Ordered a load of bits to refresh it so will get a thread on the go at some point. Makes a nice change from the mk2's.
My dad did the same thing recently.
If she has an optical out I ended up getting my dad one of these but bought it from aliexpress for about £13 from their 'official' store on there.
Works fine and the headphones just connect to it automatically.

Not a problem! That is probably your best bet, I will say though It's probably the comfiest car I have had for years for sitting in, the seats are fantastic!
Yeah the market does seem to have gone a bit crazy in that time period! The advert for this one went live at 10pm, I woke up and saw it the next morning and bought it before getting out of bed as it seemed quite good for the price. Still quite a big gamble that could have bitten me but it seems...
In between all of the above and lockdown 1 and 2 I met up with a couple of guys who have recently started youtube, we had been talking for a while and we got on really well so we hoped they could use the Integra to grow their channel a bit, the weather turned out to be perfect...aside from wind...
I started to develop a bit of a rattle on half and above throttle, searched all over for it and eventually a friend of mine told me to pop round (He's a big honda nut) and we got underneath for another look, turned out to be the half shaft heat shield so we whipped that off for now and it's...
Next up was a front splitter, a £7 universal ebay splitter to be exact, fitted with screws as the tape on there didn't appear to be too trustworthy. Makes quite a big difference to the look of the front end for a tiny outlay.
I also managed to get it on a ramp again and get some pics of...
I then started the little tidy up jobs, the weather strips on the doors were faded and cracked which is a common problem, I picked up a spare set off someone locally and resprayed them in satin black and fitted them, small change but made a massive difference.
I also had a rare chance to...
Next up was a trip out to a local car group evening which I arrived at ust as it was finishing due to stopping off to see my friends new to him Alpina, lovely car and a totally different experience to the Integra!
Okay update time, they are quite random updates due to the lockdowns etc going on.
Firstly I managed to get out on a trip in the panda, put it on the road, used it to go to yorkshire then somerset and devon, realised it was far too small for me at 6 ft 5 to realistically use as a daily and sold...
