Pixel 2xl. 2 years on nearly. No issues. My note 8 lasted under a month before I returned it, just couldn't get on with it. Not sure if I'll even upgrade come contract renewal tbh.

Are you signed in using Google? When I swap phones I need to sign into my Google account but then the passwords are saved. Not sure if this is only on Nexus/Pixel devices though.

I'll be in the same boat soon. Think it'll be the first time I won't upgrade. I'll probably stick to sim only, maybe even bin off O2 and go to EE as it's miles better for internet and general signal but contracts are a lot more than 02. The 2xl is more than good enough tbh.

If it's just for holidays, I'd avoid a DSLR. Go mirrorless like James said or look at a good compact. I've got a Lumix DMC LX100 and it's a good compact. Full manual mode if I want to use it. Loads of features that I probably won't use but others would. It was quite pricey a few years back but...

I wasn't sure if they had better sensors in the Google phones which helped.

Here's a review of the OP7. Not watched it yet but my mate said it's looking like a great phone. @ForceIndia is it the camera software that's bad then? I'd assume the hardware if they are saying it's poor in low light. The Google camera APK. will probably be out a day or two after release...

Also the camera isn’t getting the best reviews, especially in low light. What the operating system like on them? Is it as close to vanilla as you can get without it being a google phone?

Some won't have 4g capabilities depending on network provider. I looked at a few last year and that was one of the issues.

That's why I mentioned getting a skin earlier in the thread. It'll protect the paint/finish and you can get them with texture for grip. I've got mine in a clear case now but even then it gets ruined with bits of dust etc getting in-between. My mates like you with not liking them in cases but...

Yup same feeling from me. They say they will utilize the best bits of Inbox. I really hope they do because going back to Gmail is awful. Inbox was pretty much perfect.

I like them without but my phone would be absolutely battered within a week with my job. If I had an office job I'd probably keep mine naked. They do a textured one which my mate has which is pretty good, saves it slipping from the hand. Some of these new phones are super smooth.

Agree with what @16v_er says. Watched some gameplay earlier and it looks pretty poor. Some camera angles when in a battle are awful, literally can't see what's happening, where the enemies are coming from, what way you're facing etc.

Seen a bit earlier on this. They say it'll be more powerful than the ps4 pro and Xbox 1x(?) Combined. You'll have to have wired connection for this I think, well, I would anyway and even then I think it'd struggle with the BT Hub ? Sounds a good idea, all depends how much the subscription...

How are you finding Q? I went back to Pie after a couple of days, some apps that I use daily weren't working with it. Seems good though, just a bit early for me with the Pixel 2xl.

Played this again this week. Got to the level with the guille suits where you have to wait for the helicopter and swarms of enemies keep coming it you. Died and have now restarted with the claymores gone and a s**t gun as a second weapon. Had a few attempts at finishing the level from there...

Yeah it's the same as mine. Maybe the mount was a bit dodgy? Those SJ cams are supped to be decent for the money.
