    Clio Road tax

Yep I tried to find info too, everything just suggests the RPI increase as you have said.

Wait what? Is there some retrospective thing happening?

    Clio Road tax

The EV thing is a future problem that will be solved. The real concern is all the old cars on £550 tax, or even anything over £200 really, that aren't desirable but are bloody good cars. They are just getting scrapped, it's a crime, such a massive waste. There won't be a lot of 2006-2017 cars...

    Insurance Guide

I have had all apart from number 1, and insuring your wife, from Chris Knott. I found a lot of companies got really cranky about keeping the vehicle somewhere else but CK were alright.

    Detailing buying help!

Not really been into detailing for about 10 years now (jesus I'm old), however having bought a white car I guess I need to get back on it. Have had a look through my stock, I have various stuff to keep me going, loads of bilberry and iron x too for the wheels. The only shampoo I have is some...

    I bought my dream car.

Still love this Jason! This thread was one of the things that got me started looking at Porsches last year 😂 Awesome, get a thread up for this too!

    Insurance 2021

Chris Knott are also worth a try, they've been competitive for me a couple of times in the past, the latest period being on my M135i last year.

    Which fault code reader

Have you tried the EPB (service mode and calibration) and BMS reset features? I'm interested in getting a code reader that will also do these features for Volvo, Porsche and BMW but it's a minefield out there, so many different Chinese code readers all claiming to do the same thing in a vague...

See here: https://www.avforums.com/threads/new-my-best-value-tvs-2020-2021-edition.2325951/#post-28625789 You're probably in mid tier, personally for that budget I'd get the Sony XH9005 if it had to be 65" (I'd actually sacrifice size for an LG 55BX if it was my money), the Hisense is...

    M1 Mac's

I have a 16" pro that I got last year, got buyers remorse now, I should have waited for the new arm cpu but my 9 year old MBP needed replacing (it actually failed completely just after my 16" was delivered). It's still a great machine, but agree on the touchbar, offers nothing but easier emoji...

RS might not match if you don't have a Sevenoaks close to them? Why not just buy from Sevenoaks online? They are a reputable retailer, certainly more highly regarded than Currys. Edit: Just seen it's not available online any more, it was when I posted it 😂

I bought mine from Richer Sounds, who matched Sevenoaks with a similar voucher and knocked another £20 off. So if JL fail you then you could try them.

How distracting are touchscreens in cars

No Apple carplay though :( The latest gen is alright isn't it? You can just use it without the touch, I've not noticed it's much different in the X3 compared to my pre-touch tbh. The gesture control is proper s**t though.

How distracting are touchscreens in cars

Got to question that chart, how did they work it out and what was the sample size? They say handheld phone is more distracting than texting, which I can't understand at all. Both require brain and hand to be occupied with the phone but texting actually takes your eyes off the road lol. Anyway...

The BX is a steal at the moment, I'd have one over a CX now. I only got the CX when I did because it was a safer bet before the next gen consoles came out.
