You mean the manifold to cat join kit? if it was leaking from there and your exhaust was coughing and spluttering then replacing for a new one will have solved this
I think that's what you're describing as the "slight misfire", just exhaust blowing ever so slightly from that join
Shut all doors, lock it and throw a brick through the window
please DON'T do this! either lock yourself in as said above or put window down lock doors and reach in from outside of car and try open doors, should set it off
As said previously Phil, looks like they've got too hot due to not being filed down/wedged in too tight.
The DS3000 would be a better comparison/alternative to the blues as similar spec and more suited to your use of out and out track car mate
I can also now supply the blues since you...
This is fantastic, such a great shape and looks proper tidy :approve:
Btw let me know when you're looking at the brakes as I might be able to save you a few quid on the Brembo prices you quoted
They all idle a little bit rough, especially first thing on a morning/when cold
Is it shaking the car bad or just a bit annoying
Next try cleaning throttle body and checking/changing the spark plugs to see if they are the correct NGK plugs
Re: sonny172cup "track racer project"
Congrats on your ards test mate
Great work on your Cup throughout
The RS4 looked awesome, but tbf the RSS ain't a bad replacement/tow car!
Easy to clean off as an oem spec pad dust ime. Give your alloys a good clean and use a wheel sealant on them and a quick hose off will remove most of it
