Do you prefer the white or amber indicators? To be fair as well its probably getting sold come summer time next year, quite fancy an old 911 or a turbo'd e30
Im only 22 haha, allowed to be a little different at this age!! Ive got all the parts as spare to put back to OEM as well :) was thinking about changing them back to chrome but ill leave that until the spring when its out of the garage
They are amazing, really does feel like a different experience driving compared to manual (which i love as well)
A nightmare if they go wrong but that very rarely happens, only problem ive had was the slave cylinder breaking :)
Thought id upload a few pictures of my other car as ive been posting a few of the Clio
Any other M3 owners on here?
Back when in summer when i had my E30, wished id never of sold it now :( did have a few issues though
With some BBS reps on, opinions?
Had a good read through your thread yesterday mate, lots of nice choice mods and cant beat the rear bumper smoothing! Was tempted with the facelift version but i think the pre facelift looks nicer when smoothed anyway :)
Yeah, id just be happy to not lose money after doing the mods to it :) not a bad little car though, plenty of things left to do but all part of the fun
Soooo the big update is here bodywork wise, luckily a friend of mine is a very good sprayer so got the rear quarter panel beat out and sprayed.
I also got him to smooth over the rear bumper and respray it, looks wise nicer now without the rub strips!
While there i also got the door rub strips...
Decided to extend the budget to £2200 or £2300 now as i wont be happy with it otherwise :)
If anybody knows of some coilovers for sale id be very interested, cant fit the £500 into my budget but i dont think springs will look as good as id like :S
I was thinking about all that but its only my daily so drive it like a granny most of the time
Might get a remap if i find one cheap enough though.
Prefer to spend the money of my weekend car really, still got a few plans for the clio though, mainly front end changes but unsure as yet
Will be a big update coming in the next few days!!
Out of curiousity, i think so but are 16's a little small for the mk3's? Considering as well that no coilovers are on the horizon due to my budget
Bit of an update guys ive been gathering some parts and panels over the past 2 weeks ready to put on, bargains of course :P so far ive managed to get the following, all in my NV676 colour code too, winner!
Dynamique S bootlid with spoiler - £60
Passenger door complete - £40
Bonnet lightweight...
Would that just be a straight swap with the xenons? i thought the connection into the headlight unit may be different?
Luckily my dads a mechanic so the timing belt will only cost me for the actual belt, winner ;) what mileage are they normally done at on these?
The bonnet is all rippled, hard...
Cheers matey, yeah its ideal for a daily with the mpg and running costs :)
Dont suppose you know much about the wiring differences between the halogen headlights and the 197 Xenon's?
Been after something for winter then this little Clio came about last week, my friend is going to Uni so she had to get rid.
Its fairly ropey on the bodywork side of things (women drivers) but the engine is sweet as a nut with just 70,000 miles on the clock
I matched her webuyanycar after...
So i wont need ballasts etc? pretty sure they are attatched to the light anyway right?
A bit of wiring is fine and i dont mind missing out the cornering lights as they arent a legality
Yeah i couldnt turn them down though ebay auction £14 delivered for all 4 brand new :)
Door pillars make it look so much nicer when driving, not got that awful colour in your view!
Id say it does slightly yeah but im still using 195 tyres so its not too bad, Its only my daily car anyway i take the M3 out when i want to drive fast :)
Yeah i was torn between white or anthracite, with going for something different i thought white would be better, anthracite is overused on clio's imo even if it does look good :)
Wondered if anyone else has put these Speedline's on a clio before?
I had them bored out to fit but they were a 4x100 fitment so didnt need to be redrilled
Then powdercoated white, wrapped in proxes and some new centre caps :)
