Damn :(
This is gonna be expensive I bet! I will have to take it to the garage as I don't have a clue on how to do all this stuff lol!
So I am going to need new pads, and some brake fluid.
Hi,
Did the Donnington Track day yesterday and now my brakes are f**ked! They started to go a bit spongy (brake fade I thought) so came back into the paddock. About an hour or so later decided to go out for another session but tested the brake pedal and it went to the floor. Brough it back up...
My best mod has to be NOT modifying it. Its a Clio, not a race car!
And as for the nonsense about the pea shooter exhausts and it sounding crap... at least I don't get deafened by a loud exhaust which also draws attention to yourself :)
I got a good deal on mine and I only had to wait a month from the date it being ordered instead of the 2 months at the time.
I don't need things like Xenons and Climate control so for me it seemed ideal and I saved a bit of money as well :)
You will find it difficult to insure a 172/182 for less than £3k at 19 unless you have a couple of no claims. I am 20 with 2 years no claims and got it down to £1500 fully comp in my own name for my 182 Cup.
Thats with Elephant and having my mum as a second driver and 1 external modification...
