It really makes no difference, it's once again a retailer selling a product they can argue is slightly different and potentially don't ever have to price match.
Pretty sure if you buy it from currys, it has a slightly different model number, and they have the UK exclusive on adjustable feet lol
Looks like it's 55" only -...
Yes, the XH90 will get HDMI 2.1 support via a firmware update, like I said they did release this last month but it was buggy so it has been revoked and will be released again soon.
I was downloading fairly quickly earlier, now it's crawling, and I'm also struggling to sign in. I guess the yanks are home from work now and hammering the new consoles.
Personally the issues with the Samsung make it not worth getting, I knew the smaller models are a lesser spec but didn't realise that included the 48"!
If you can't stretch to the CX but must have HDMI 2.1 than I'd consider the Sony XH90, yes the 2.1 update last month did cause some issues but...
I wish it was spot the difference, I've gone from knowing nothing about TVs and being content with a low end Hisense to a TV nerd in the last 2 weeks 😂

That's not an HDMI 2.1 TV, it's only a 50Hz panel...
Re updates, Samsungs and LGs have had 2.1 support for ages now, Sony have revoked their update as it was causing issues, expect it to be out in time for the PS5 though.
I got that email too, quite tempted by the elite controller but not sure I can justify it.
Edit: Decided against it, it's been cheaper on Amazon (£132 and £128) on two occasions in the last month. Might get a better deal on black friday.
Well the 360 had rrod, this got extended cover though (which came in a month after I bought my 2nd xbox due to the first one rrod'ing) but my Day One One is still surviving. I don't think the one had issues did it?
Are you interested in buying outright or only via All Access?
If you are interested in outright I'd keep a close eye on the XSX threads over on AVForums, it might also be worth contacting the MS store as they've been helping people buy the consoles from other EU countries, same warranty but...
