I got fed up of my Belkin today so threw it out and got an incipio feather as that's the best the apple store had in. Fit and feel is good, coverage on the top and bottom edge isn't brilliant though.
Still better than the manky Belkin thing
Take the top of the cowl off, then you should be able to see a clip on the radio stalk from above. Push this down with a flat blade and the stalk should pull out.
Finally turned up today, and what a machine.
Starts up so fast! Got all my apps sorted out and really enjoying having a small laptop again, definitely recommend getting one.
Is MCN still weekly, it's hard enough to find a whole papers worth of news about bikes over a month, nevermind a week.
It used to be good a few years ago due to the massive classifieds section but the last time I looked (2011 iirc, looking for new deals) that had gone right down.
Brazo won the October comp with the following picture:
Congratulations to Brazo, his chosen theme for November is:
People - where a person or persons is the main subject.
We will continue to vote at the end of a month, so competitions can start at the beginning of every month
So...
I think they are good for food and service offers like hotels but I wouldnt want to buy a high value item.
You probably won't lose money but it could be a load of hassle if it goes wrong.
You should of not bothered with pages imo, but spec is same as mine.
Mine was sent this morning, but is coming from China :(
You'd think they would keep ram upgraded models in the UK
Not got it yet Chris, estimated delivery is next Monday, hopefully it will come a bit earlier as I've gone for a very common build.
If you want something ultra portable then it's a viable option but if not I'd be after one of the retinas, preferably the 15" one.
If it was my main laptop I'd of gone full spec with the 512GB drive, but as a secondary laptop I don't plan to store much on it. But then again if it was my main laptop, I'd of gone for the retina 15".
My first mac had a 500MB HDD lol
Sorry for the lateness in this thread.
A good month for entries, thanks to everyone that did enter, there are some excellent shots in this lot.
So as usual, vote for the photo you like best, also considering the theme was Autumn :)

Just ordered mine, the 128GB 13", but bumped up the RAM to 8GB. Got an ethernet adaptor too.
Not bad for £950 with 3 year warranty.
Nearly went for a 15" retina to replace my MBP instead, but then thought the real reason for the air is ultra portability, which the retina still isn't. Although...
Considering a new, better spec, MBP is £850 on the student site, with a 3 year warranty, I'd say more like £500.
But used ones can go for silly money, so you never know.
Personally I'd keep it, there are times when the iPad just doesn't cut it and you don't want to have to go use the iMac...
It's out of warranty.
I think I'll leave the used one. I'd have to get it delivered and I'd rather buy it in person at that sort of money.
I'll probably order online today, buying new I can double the ram for £60 too.
Is this a good deal?
Apple Macbook Air 13" with an I5 1.7ghz processor. Comes with 4gb ram and 128GB SSD drive 2011 model for £600
Or a new one with basically identical spec and 3 year warranty from apple is £850
Can't decide if the extra £250 is worth it for warranty basically.
