    Trophy depreciation proof?

Mine sold for slightly more than I paid for it, but I had spent a bit on it. I just about broke even in the end. A good, low mileage, example with all the work done is still worth upto £6k imo. I wouldn't buy another like that though, you know that every time you drive it it is losing money.

I'll likely attend this as I am home that weekend. Be good to get a few from CS going.

    Acid yellow V6 on eBay!

If I had money I'd have bought it already. To the right person it's worth it, might cost a few £k to get up to scratch but it's such a rare colour.

French logo on the front grille

Most people use electrical tape I think. One guy did at FCS a few years ago and others copied.

**** FAO of Capsicum Red Non sport and Trophy owners! ****

I think it was about £30 a side when he first quoted, but I got it done free in the end as I had another defect fixed at the same time. He is proper old school, but he is good at what he does. I guess you don't find many people like him about though.

My local Bodyshop sprayed my handles when I got my Trophy as they were pink, was a good match too and wasn't expensive.

Chrome is better tbh, I still mainly use safari but I keep chrome for a separate google account and I've decided it is better.

It's not an air though, and it is like 6 years old I think (spec looks like my 07 spec).

    MacBook Air

I use virtual box, it's not as good as parallels or fusion but I prefer it to bootcamp as my windows usage is so minimal and just for odd programs. But even then, I hate running windows on my mac, and it is such a waste of the MBA's disk space (I don't run it on my MBA, just my Pro). For just...

    182/Trophy Reliability?

I went leather as the suede wears really badly. I loved the wheel, finished off the Trophy nicely! But, unless parts are required due to damage/scoring, then it's just seals/oil etc, which don't need to come from Sachs surely?
  27. jenic

    182/Trophy Reliability?

Regarding the Sachs, I think I was one of the first trophy guys to use Cornering force for the dampers. The service isn't as fast as BG but it's reasonably priced for some seals and a bit of oil. You're mostly paying for labour, and since BG turn them around in a day it shows how much they are...

    182/Trophy Reliability?

My trophy was spot on, had been looked after though which makes a big difference. Everything serviced when it should of been. As long as they are looked after they seem pretty strong. Most of the issues I had with my RB were due to the aux kit not being done with the cambelt. Once the full kit...
