Ok so had a quick go at fitting the gear knob tonight. The fitting had its positives and negatives. Firstly, the actual original knob can be a pain to get off so I popped it into 4th gear and got in the back seat of the car with the two front seats pushed...

Good ideas mate, its good that your properly looking into what kind of set up want instead of purchasing cr@p coilys and slamming it.
Sorry, maybe i didn't explain it well lol. The BBS RS style replica wheels are quite difficult to make look good without the car being really low, in my opinion of course and I know you weren't that interested in getting coilovers. Whereas the wheels you have at the moment are really cool and...
I think they should fit ok mate, big arches on the mk3. The only thing is, it will be hard to pull them wheels off without getting your car a lot lower.

Lol one thing at a time :) im not sure what size i will need till i get it sat where i want. Hopefully i wont need bigger than 20mm each side, but will have to see

Found out my job is safe so obviously went out and bought my coilys :) not after haggling with a few companies first to get them cheaper :)
It depends on what you want for the car really? I assume its a daily driver and you want comfort etc hence the springs over coilovers for example. I think cheap(ish) effective mods are, silvervision bulbs, better headlight bulbs (osram, phillips), RS Grille, colour coding if it hasnt already...

The chap might still be making them if u one want, £30 quid ish for one iirc. Plus he does different colours etc.

Just a tiny update until the impending grand update hopefully next weekend. Got this through from a member on here who makes them, really good quality so happy with it :)
