Had a vectra as the family car and a Mini Cooper s as the bit of fun. Things got nasty wi ex and they wa both in her name lol so had to buy summet cheap ish and quick ish. I've mainly spent it refreshing / replacing parts. Only performance stuff wa a k and n panel filter and a stainless exhaust...
Well that's why I bought it, needed summet quickly after leaving mrs, and had heard good things. Sort of love it but just want it to be right, I've thrown money at it so far, which I don't mind if I get the performance I've heard so much about
I've heard there lumpy, but now it's getting worse, and its not a constant thing with the vibrations more up and down, making me shake in the seat lol ps never had cambelt done or asked for It doing??? Must be someone else, I was curious if getting it done could resolve it??
Apologies if this is a stupid question but I'm not the best mechanic lol.
Does changing the cambelt / depahser etc Improve the running esp at idle?? I've had my 182 fully serviced, changed injectors, coil pack , tdc sensor, maf sensor, and still idles crap!! Hope I get some decent help/...
Hope someone can shed some light on this!?!? My clio developed a warning light, plugged code reader in, said engine missfire cylinder 3 ( can't remember the fault code) changed plugs, coil pack, then eventually injector, problem solved! Apart from now the obd reader won't connect so I can clear...
